I just realized that my season pass to cedar point is also accepted at Dorney Park in PA. I was wondering since I live in ohio, is Dorney Park worth the drive? I don't want to plan on going if it is really lame and I would be better off going to Cedar Point.

Yeah, it's worth it. Talon is better than Raptor, and Steel Force is better than Magnum. Six Flags and Hershey aren't that far from DP.

Maybe I will check it out with my lil brother or something. I need to experience other parks, I just don't think my car will hold up.

Why don't you go to closer parks like Kennywood or Darien Lake? PKI is very nice also.

Don't go to Dorney. Go to Knoebels. It beats Hershey and Dorney by a looooong shot.

Only reason I thought Dorney is my season pass.

The way I figure, if you are going to go to Dorney, you might as well hit one or two (or more), Pennsylvania parks on your way across the state. Coming from Northern Ohio, I would suggest hitting Knoebels and Conneaut Lake. They are both very inexpessive, and you will not be disappointed with either.

Kennywood shouldn't be missed either. That's sort of on the way.

And be sure to take plenty of pictures, as 2003 pics of any of those parks are very hard to find!

Guess you haven't visited my site , www.penncoasters.com. The trip reports section has 2003 pics of both Conneaut Lake and Knoebels. Great stuff, check it out.

It is closest to Elysburg, PA. It is one of those places that if you blink you will miss it. The closest major town is Bloomsburg, about 15 miles away.
