Next month, Im headed to the LA area and I plan to visit Magic Mountain for two days. I know about the incredible selection of rides... but which one should I ride first?
Also, my home park is SFOG and I've been spoiled by the invention of the Q-bot. Just wondering, do they rent Q-bot's at SFMM?

One letter X. Be at the openning gates an hour early. Being there when the park opens isn't good enough. I've had a 3 hour line before at 10:15, 15 min after the park opens. Which as of right now capacity isn't too good. I've taken 6 trips to MM in the past 2 weeks and it's only running 1 train. So be there early. If the line is extending to the end of the bridge and they are only running 1 train it's a 6 hour line. I'll warn you of this now. And X is also closed on Wed. Weekends, I believe run 2 trains however.

X is really the only ride you have to worry about. DejaVu can get long but usually not longer than 2 hours. But normally runs at 45 min to an hour. So in a nut shell take X and DeJa first then do whatever.

30-45
Riddler
Goliath
Scream
Batman
Superman TE
Ninja (if only 1 train operation which it has been doing as of late)

Walk on
The Rev.
Viper
Psyclone
Goldrusher
Colossus
Ninja (with 2 train)

Closed
Flashback as I'm sure you know it doesn't run when Hurricane Harbor is open.

Since I don't know what a Q-bot is, they probably don't rent them.

Crowds shouldn't be too bad. School for Cali teens starts the last week of August. But I see you're going on a Wed. Don't forget X is closed on Weds.

Won't be empty. Some schools will start up again that week, others will start later. Most start the week Aug. goes into Sept. Whatever week contains Sept. 1st. But they do vary.
