Well, here's a tip for something else to do in Montreal. Don't miss the Montreal Botanical Gardens and the Biodome. The gardens are enormous and made up of many different gardens actually. It sort of reminds me of EPCOT's World Showcase in a way, but without the rides and shops. Or it could be compared to Cypress Gardens. There are Chinese and Japanese sections both with buildings and structures exhibiting culture and art as well as the elaborate gardens. There is a Native American (Canadian?) garden area, and Alpine gardens with a man-made mountain. There is a butterfly aviary and a large insect museum, and there is a tree museum in the Arboretum section. There are also elaborate indoor gardens under glass, some of which would make you think you are outdoors. The entire property is enormous and there is a tram to transport you to each section, many of which I haven't mentioned.

Across the street from the gardens is the Biodome. It was the former indoor bike racing stadium from the 1976 summer Olympics, but it has been transformed into an indoor zoo with many well themed sections representing different environments. Both the Gardens and Biodome are worth your time.

You might also enjoy visiting the Old Port and the adjacent "old Montreal." It is a tourist-friendly section of the city with lots of street entertainment and liveliness during the summer.

Is the park within a few hours from Paramounts?
