Well it was only yesterday I was relaxing at my pool at the Royal Pacific to then go ride Spiderman, Dueling Dragons, The Hulk and many more of the other "amazing" attractions at Universal Orlando. Today, I am stressed out. I want to go BACK and "escape" from life. I am now beginning my recovery of Orlando Depression Syndrome. Things aren't looking well. The only thing to keep me going is stairing at the pictures and videos from my digital camera. Every now and then I get convulsions in my right arm from MIB Alien Attack. I'm constantly aiming my antenna from my cell phone at people's eyes hoping to get some more points. I think my Express Card/Room Key is the reason for these abnormal symptoms. Being able to walk on Spiderman as many times as I desired or jumping onto the Hulk over and over and over really is making my body do some weird things.

Seriously though, I had a blast. From the time I checked into the luxorious Royal Pacific, till the time I checked out, I had an incredible time. Our room was amazing. We were on the top floor facing IOA. If you've never been to Royal Pacific, it is literally accross the street from IOA. I had a FULL view of the park and The Hulk's twisting track was right in my face. I would wake up to the buzzing of the Hulk as they did test runs before the park opened. Come 8:30 each morning we would be on the Water Taxi and would be transported to the City Walk area. Onsite at Universal is AWESOME. Not only are the hotels beautiful and hospitable, they offer you TONS of benefits to the entire Unviersal Resort Area. My room key was basically a VIP card. It did everything. I skipped all the lines ALL DAY, ordered lemon slushys from the carts, ordered shirts and cool IOA merchandise to my room, relaxed in a lagoon equivalant to those found at the most expensive Disney Resorts and all for about what it pays to stay at the Port Orleans or Carribean Beach. The dining was great. I got to eat at Emeril's Tchoup Choup found at the Royal Pacific which was the finest restaurant I have ever eatin in all of Florida. The service, food, decor, and overall atmosphere was almost perfect.
I then got to witness Mardi Gras which was extremely fun. The parade was great and the characters were top-notch. It was a lot of fun. David Lee Roth (vocalist of Van Halen) was in concert instead of Lynard Skynerd. Roth was exciting to watch and was great live. Not my first choice, but I knew a few of the songs and overall had a great time. Mardi Gras is more for adults, but all the families seemed to have a great time as well.
As you can see, I am still in awe of the experience. I am trying to recover, but I know I will always have the urge to want to go back again and again. If you have never been to Universal Orlando or haven't gone in the last few years....STAY ONSITE. Book your reservations today!

well im glad u had a good time. i have to say ive never stayed onsite at USF, mostly cuz i do it as a combined trip with disney and i stay on disney property but ive heard of USF hotel bennefits and they are great. a lot better than anything disney has to offer. this is the type of stuff parks need to do. thats how they win the crowds.
