In about a little more in a year I will be going to Orlando. I plan on staying at Universal and hitting IOA twice, Universal once, Magic Kingdom once, MGM once, and Epcot once. I still have two days left over. I was planning on IOA and Universal another time but I hear Busch Gardens Tampa is great. So I might go there and maybe Disney Quest another day.

I know Montu, Kumba, and Shekra are all great, but what else is there. Can I please have tips about the lines, the drive from Orlando, etc.

Thanks in Advance.

The lines are very short whenever I go. I'd rather spend time at BGT then IOA (5 days at the universal parks is way too much) I'd spend 2 days there at the most. BGT has animals and some of the best coasters in florida. I'd love to spend 2 or 3 days there. The park is huge. I'd spend a day at animal kingdom too. And you could go to cypress if you wanted. Still, I think your spending to much time at Universal when there's much more to do.

The drive from Orlando is about an hour and isnt that hard. I'd suggest BGT. SheiKra is a great coaster and will probably be one of the few cances you get to ride a rare B&M model.

The reason I am probably staying at Universal is mainly because of citywalk. I also want those express passes. Animal Kingdom was horrible last time I went. Maybe I could get a hotel down at Busch Gardens Tampa for two days then come up for Universal and Disney.

Gosquan, let me tell you straight up about if BGT's worth visiting in FL or not. In fact, read my BGT TR from 7/6/05 & you'll see whether BGT will be suited for your liking or not.

Gosquan you should go to busch gardens. ITs about an hour away from disney. You can get this park done in a day. The lines are short. If you get there whent the park opens you can get about half the park done in the first two hours, before the crowds get there. They have about five good coasters there. I just went in july and loved it. Hope you have fun on your trip.

I had one free day in central Florida last summer before a softball tourney and went to BGT. This year I will have one free day before a softball tourney in Florida and I will again go to BGT. That one man's opinion for what is is worth.

sure, I'll be there on October 14th, my flight lands in Tampa at 9AM, then I pick up the rental car and head to BGT.

I promise to make no food suggestions (unless I see a Chic-Fil-A) And I'm not going to give you one of my hospitality beers, so don't even think about it.

Sounds good, I'll schedule it and tell you if I can't make it but I don't see anything as of now that would hold me back.

I had no problem with your food choices, that's Christina with the weak stomach

I have a quick question for anyone who can answer. I am going to BGT and SeaWorld Fla. on October 8 & 9, and I am wondering how busy Fla. parks usually are at that time of year? Will it be packed or just kind of busy? That is Columbus Day weekend, so I would guess more people would be around but that's not exactley the biggest holiday.

If you get to sea world at the opening there will be no lines at all. As the day goes on guests trickle in, but you can get alot done quickly.
