We all know that Vekoma doesn't make the smoothest coasters, although I have heard good things about EE. I'm wondering if anyone had ridden any of their wooden coasters and if so, were they smooth or not.

Ok go ahead and rip me up about how bad this post is, but I really do want to know the answer.

Wild Cat(LC)2006 Ride Count= 151

B&M did not invent the inverted coaster, they took a suspended coaster idea and made it not swing.

Prefabricated Track is for losers.

5+ Years still missing the "Riverside" Cyclone

What's EE? The Vekoma woodies that come to mind for me are the Walibi Woodie(s)

Got it - this is a good post. However just keep in mind that since most TPC participants are from the United States so you might not get too many people that have ridden a Vekoma woodie.

Thundercoaster was a really good coaster. My second favorite wooden coaster that I rode in Europe last year. Only Balder was better.

I didn't even know Vekoma made wooden coasters until after I rode this a couple of times. I asked someone I was with who made it and they said Vekoma, I thought they were joking.

Thundercoaster was rough (but not painful), seemingly out of control and had plenty of pops of air.

I thought it was FAR superior to Grand National and Megaphobia - two wooden coasters that I think are way overrated but tend to do well on polls.

Thundercoaster ruled and made my top ten. It did have some out of control roughness, but that type of roughness rules. In the rain it was even better.

It's funny how Europe gets the FUN vekomas, and were stuck with Ninja, Ninja, and Boomerang.

Yea, Axman, it's also funny how "we" get 3 DejaVus, 20 Invertigos, and however many Dutchman.
