This might be a dumb topic. In your opinion, what's the most comfortable and least comfortable coaster seats and restraints.

The best Thunderhead, the padding and leather is really comfortable on a wooden coaster

The worst Son of Beast, I think the seats are too small and the seats themselves are painful.

Be more confident dude. Don't just come out and say "This might be a dumb topic". Just get right into it.

B&M hypers have very nice seats and are the best for a steal.

Yep, the B&M Hypers are nice. As are their Dive Machine trains.

Lightning Racer without a doubt has the most comfortable seats because of them smooth Millennium Flyer trains. They're so silky smooth & comfortable that it's like you're cruising down a road in a Motorcycle or something. Also, the openness you get in them's like cruising down the countryside feeling free.

B&M hypers are the only ones I Really notice. SOB for most uncofortable, and that kiddie coaster I had to ride side saddle but that is my own fault.

^^ I think that is a great assessment of the Lightning Racer trains RC.

^ And true, the only ones that I really notice are the B&M hypers.

Mostly all the woodens I've been on have comfortable seats for me. What is uncomfortable is basically any OTSR and Premier Seats. I'm pretty tall, so I have to slouch on basically any OTSR and those Premier Trains aren't really made for people with long legs. I think I'm supposidly too tall to ride them. And Hypersonic XLC has terrible seating.

B&M hyper trains immediately come to mind when discussing comfortable riding carriages. Wild Mice tend to be a little bit uncomfortable, but that is part of the fun. For me, since I am fairly tall (round about 6 feet) and consequently have long legs, old Arrow loopers do not provide me with much leg room, since the "bubble" in the floor due to the wheels intrudes on the edges so that I am forced to put my legs at an angle to get my feet into the center of the car.

The Cyclone has some pretty darned comfy seats - I dig the "classic" style, ie no divider and lots of side padding.

The least? I'd have to go with those on "Batman & Robin - The Chiller", at GAdv. Cramped as all get out.

For the worst coaster seats, I'd have to say anythang that's a Schwarzkopf looper (a la SuperDooperLooper & Laser) because since I stand 6'1'', my legs are so long for the trains to accomodate which makes it a very tight squeeze for me. I can't even ride those two coasters anymore because of my length. It doesn't matter to me though because even when I was able to ride both of them, they weren't that great to begin with anyway.

I agree with Animan. As far as comfort goes, I love B&M hypers and hate wild mice.

B&M's any, Kingda Ka's seats, and (contrary to adriahna) Primier launch trains are comfortable to me. I think while the lapbars on Primiers really restrict and lower body movement, The seats and position you actually sit in is pretty nice.

Most uncomfortable goes to Arrow Mine Trains and Skull Mountain.

As to what Animan said about Arrow loopers I find that if I sit in the front of the car (at six foot four) compared to the back of the car, I have far more leg room. By car I mean individual car, not train of course.

6'1 that is my exact height and I just got off the ride like 20 hours ago. I have never noticed a problem on Sooper.

Remember, coaster...he said that he can't ride any more because of his length. But he didn't tell us exactly what of...

(Hey, it may be a cheap joke, but I couldn't pass it up.)

Oh, believe me, I have no interest in that topic whatsoever...although if we were discussing Danny's length...well, that's another story.
