KK is $5.00. The parkinglot is owned and operated by the convention center, and not the park. SFNE is $15.00. I don't know what TGE's fee is, they just instituted it this year.

15$ is absolutely ridiculous. The city of Denver installed about 50 parking meters right next to SFEG this year. I think that the meters had more cars than the parking lot! The best part was that they had huge signs that said "Happy anniversary! 15$ parking!" At leat denver is pulling in some profit.

I can't see myself spending more than $10 for parking unless I'm going to a park that I've been dying to go to for a long time. $15 is too steep & Six Flags New England's not even that big of an amusment park & probably not as great of one either, with the exception of their 2 star coasters Superman: Ride of Steel & Batman - the Dark Knight.

SFNE is $15.00 for the regurlar parking ther eis prefered parkign on the park side at $25.00 the park also dosn't have senior Discounts any more.

TGE is now $10.00 to park. but if you want to try it you can park at the factory outlets down the street and take a trolly buss for $1.00

Herc I remeber TGE! Anyway so I don't massively repeat myself. If you think it is too high, don't pay. I am not saying I like the price, but if I want to go price of parking has no EFFECT.

To try to put this into a little bit of perspective, yesterday we paid $10, $2 an hour, to park to visit Trimper's & Pier rides in OC, MD. Yes, we could have gone to the beach too which is pretty much free (unless you need food or beverages or want to tip the poor restroom attendant who keeps the place tolerable). To me, parking fees just seem to be part of the equation to go anywhere for amusement.

Believe me Herc I wasn't trying to start up a new TGE parking price Thread. Just wanted to clear up the info so far given.

Every one well most of you say that thread and know i don't like it. Locals seem to have a problem also. Many are doing the trolley bus thing. By the way the Bridge at TGE still isn't finish.

Why are they charging so much for parking? Are there any off site places near the park that have trolley service or that you can park at and walk to? That's a ridiculous price to pay for parking. Why should the park charge so much for parking on top of admission prices? It's no wonder people aren't visiting parks. These are the 2 Six Flags parks left that I really want to see. Someday I hope to visit Tx and Calif. Any tips would be helpful. Thanks.

SFNE has a few Buisnesses and alot of houses around it. you either park at the park of you have no place to park. also Peopel from Boston are used to paying too much to park. any parkign garage in boaston can cost you $15-35 for the day and a red sox game could run you $25-40 and that's just for a few hours.

I think there using that at park of there resaning.

TGE has A trolly(bus)that stops at the park while makign its loop. But there only $10 to park still too high given they only started chargign this year and stated when it was aproved that it would be $5.00 dollars.

Most Six Flags establishments are far enough from the central city that public transportation is difficult or sporadic. The parks are also generally not in walking distance from any public parking facilties because they are offset from the main road.

Off the top of my head SFGAdv, SFGAm, SFMM, SFoG, SFStL, SFAm, SFFT, LaRonde all have no public parking within a mile of the park and than the walk from the road to the entrance is pretty far also.

As far ss why SF charges this much for parking, it is because they can and most will pay. If they lose money with this strategy Snyder and Shapiro are smart enough to change next year and promote it as "new lower parking fees"

You hit the nail on the head. People don't really have a choice. So if they want to go to the park they need to pay the parking fee.

Tip for larry- When you visit SFEG this fall, use the parking meters. There is public parking all around the park too... downtown aquarium (8$) city parking lots etc. That is one nice thing about a six flags park in the heart of a city.

I don't think I'll be going to the softball tournament in Colorado Springs, but if I do I'll use this advice.
