That's a shame. Well anyway, my wife and I just purchased our tickets for our northern Italy vacation in August for my cousin's wedding. It just so happens to be in the same town as mirabilandia, so I'll try to hit Katun and let you know how it compares to the other inverts in our discussion here.

I've ridden many inverts. My personal favorite is Alpengeist for the sheer size of the ride, there's no other invert like it. Most others pale in comparison and stay relatively close to the ground. Next would be Montu, that barely edges out Top Gun mainly for the cool Egyptian theming. Flying through those cool Egyptian-themed channels or ditches remind me a little of Luke making his legendary run down that canyon on the Death Star at the end of the original Star Wars. Top Gun is great and nearly as good as Montu, and then Talon which doesn't look like much but definetely packs a punch and is a great ride in its own right. And finally Great Bear, which doens't do anything too special but is still a B&M invert. And I've yet to ride a bad one of those. I'm still waiting to ride the Raptor so I can see if it's all that or just got praise b/c it wasn't another Batman clone.

Very easy choice!! Montu fer sure. The ending of Alpengeist is WEAK. Montu for me is like the closest thing to a perfect ride as it gets.

I'm fairly new, so please be gentle.
Query: several people have mentioned Great Bear, but no reference to Medusa, yet overall Medusa has a significantly higher TPC rank than Great Bear. What's up? And when folks say "Batman:the Ride," which one or ones do they mean - the stats on them aren't all identical. After a few Medusa and Great Bear rides (probably more Great Bear), GAdv Batman didn't seem that impressive.
Sorry I can't contribute to the actual initial question.

Medusa is a Floorless, the track is beneath you. Inverts have the track above you.
All the Batman The Rides are clones. They have the same elements and sequence and distance (give or take a couple of feet).

Montu for sure, it's an incredible ride from beginning to end.Alpengeist's ending is WEAK, WEAK, WEAK, it's a decent ride throughout but it has no ending.
