boring! And not very challenging especially with the arrows marked on the bottom of the each glass pointing the way to go and are even unnecessary since there are no real dead ends.
This is a waste of time. I'm not sure how old it is. It should be refurbished into more of a fun house. Keep some of the mirrors and clean them up, then take out the rest and add some fun house features.
What the hell is this? No stunts, no funhouse gags, no nothing. Just some crappy, badly-cared-for mirrors, no variety in them even, and at the end you get spat out into what looks like a school hallway. Ive never seen a greater lack of effort.
This really is a piece of garbage. Not only is it not a mirror maze, but more of a mirror path that you follow, but the mirrors need a shine badly.
This attraction made no sense. It has a maze section of Messy incept plexiglass and mirrors that seemed to have no dead ends. Also I think they reversed the entrance and exit. because there are Arrows on the ground pointing in the aposite direction then you need to go. The Fun house mirrors were fun for about 30 seconds and most of them didnt work well. i assume this is an older attraction so I can give the park credit for trying to keep it alive but they need to keep clean and painted.
I know that this is a classic attraction at Rye Playland, but this was a massive disappointment and Im upset that the park is considering removing their dark rides instead of this attraction. Located towards the left side of the park, the House of Mirrors looks like a carnival ride. Always a walk-on due to low popularity, the House of Mirrors is exceptionally easy due to how poor of a condition that the mirrors are in. They are so scratched up and smudgey that its so easy to tell where all of the mirrors are. I didnt get lost at all once on this attraction. Halfway through the mirror maze is a pathetic section with fun house mirrors that were in just as bad condition as the other mirrors in the attraction. Overall, the House of Mirrors is a very disappointing attraction that would be hard for me to recommend to anyone. Only those who really enjoy mazes should even try this, as Playland has much better attractions that are better ways to spend your time and money.
This isnt an incredibly disorienting house of mirrors, and I dont think there are any of those left. Like DmctNY8 said, theres nothing special or rewarding at the end. I got a little lost at one part, I think the same as larrygator and adriahna, but was quickly able to get out.
yes, house of smudgy plexiglass, and I did get lost and disoriented in the same spot as everyone else
Unfortunately, this is hardly a "house of mirrors" - more like a "house of smudgy plexiglass". There is one spot thats a little confusing, but not good enough to redeem the ticket price. I will say, however, that the hall of funhouse mirrors is pretty fun.
A pretty uninteresting house of mirrors, this is one "classic" that needs a make-over/rehab.
