The Great Pistolero Round Up is a track guided shooter ride. It is fun, fast, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

A good shooting ride for a small park. The guns seemed to be pretty accurate and the theming was surprisingly well done (not on par with Disney or Universal but very good for a small family park). The ride is a little on the short side but not so short that I would say to skip it. Overall rating 3.75

This was a pretty good shooting dark ride. I liked the theming a lot and the plot was decent. There were plenty of targets during the ride, each worth different point values, and the guns worked flawlessly. Only real negative was how short this ride is.

Outside of the destination parks (Disney/Universal) it is one of the better shooter rides outside of Indiana Beach. You have different colored bags worth different amounts. The only problem I had was you exit the building right into the sunlight and dont get a chance to see your score if you dont look quickly.

I was surprised by the quality of this shoot em up ride, being in such a small park. There was some really good theming in the queue, including a very large animatronic figure introducing the story. The ride duration here was not very long, but the theming and storyline made for quite an engaging experience, and there were several neat interactive effects. There were also two types of targets--normal ones as well as targets on gold bags that would show up every now and then, worth extra points. This one was very addicting, much better than the Pavilions Treasure Hunt.

After having been on MIB, Buzz, and Scooby, this ride seemed like the lesser of the shooters. I still enjoyed the ride a lot, as a fan of these rides, but this is probably the least of the genre.
