Like Jaws this ride is showing its age. The pre-shows are a good learning experience for those who have not seen the behind the scenes things before. Most of the ride was pretty predictable but still OK. The rushing water was the one effect I had forgotten about after seeing this rides dozens of times on very theme parks TV shows
This ride is better than I remeber...
I even got to be an actor in the demonstration! I like how its not just a ride, but a full on experience. Its a classic must-ride thats still going strong.
Brilliant, I love this ride it is really good just go with the flow and enjoy
Hmm they said we survived an 8.4 earthquake hmmm. Didnt even seem like a 5 earthquake to me. I did like all the effects they did for it though. I by passed the lines I rented one of those evc wheelchairs cuz i had blisters on my feet and was hurting from a park the day before. Front of the line baby. He he he.
Not too bad but when the subway or whatever it was started shaking it kinda hurt. It had some neat effects. Again this ride is kinda getting dated but its not that bad.
This attraction isnt the greatest but it isnt the worst in the world. The queue is totally unthemed and frankly boring, and it is always a long line. The first 2 preshow rooms are very dry, nothing too important. The 3rd room IMO is pretty cool though, especially when I get picked to do one of the things on stage. The ride is actually pretty cool. All of the special effects on there were quite good, the rushing water, the ceiling/ road breaking, the train coming at you, all of the pyro all is done great and the earthquake itself is just awesome.
This was LAME! First of all its a ride based on making an Earthquake movie(?). Second, the preshow bored me to death, and third, the subway deal was way too fake. The truck in particular moved too slowly as it fell, and I expected it to topple over.
The preshow is more interesting than the show. the show/ride is step into a subway car shake and watch stuff break. Only halfway exciting the first time no its just routine. I remember the first time i went to this park and thought it was great. Now its by far my least favorite florida park. There just doesnt seem to be a reason to go back.
A friend of mine got to be the stunt man and fall off the cliff. Hilarious. The ride was so-so. The water part was awesome but the truck thing was pretty fake.
Great preshow...Wrok hard to get the attention of the staff to get picked to volunteer! Its fun to jump off a building ;-). The reinactment is high quality, too. Not exactly a thrill ride, but if you get immersed in the setup its fun.
