The park didnt open last year. This coaster was already in danger of falling apart. Its a pity and a crying shame. The last time I rode this, it actually derailed!!! Its been known to hop on the tracks too. Somebody should buy this coaster and give it a good home.

This coaster is pure proof that bigger does not mean better. This coaster provides every sensation in the woodie catalog and does it forcefully yet smoothly.

Nice ride, good air and I did nearly land on the seat divider. Beautifull coaster, its fun to watch and photograph from the top of the slide. I love how the car ride goes beneath the structure of this classic woodie.

Okay ... put simply, THE SCREECHIN EAGLE would swoop in and eat THE RAVEN alive!!! This coaster is fantastic ... pure air time in the backseat and some truly insane ejector air in the front seat. Literally rode this coaster 10 times without getting back in line, from every seat possible, and it didnt even come close to get boring. For all the sing the praises of THE RAVEN, ride the SCREECHIN EAGLE ... and then keep in mind that this coaster predates THE BEAST, its well over 60 years old and still flies with the best airtime coasters ever. The only reason this coaster doesnt get the praise it deserves is because this park has only had own good management team since 1983, and that team left in 1996. Trust me, this ride is worth any trip ... and theres seldom a line. Just an incredible ride. Im giving it a 9, as opposed to a 10, for 2 small reasons. #1 is the seat dividers, they havent been there until 1997 ... and they take some fun away from the ride. Be smart, management, and take them out so this coaster can resume its position as a ACE CLASSIC COASTER. #2 the air time and ejector air dont really kick in until the 2nd hill, which isnt much of a complaint, but coupled with the seat dividers, its one shy of perfect. But that "one" is a very very small "one,.

Airtime galore! Make sure you sit in the front for the most airtime. Every hill is full of ejector airtime, and tighten your seatbelt or else you could be sitting on the seat divider (not good!). Currently my second favorite wood... The reason for the "9" is because its way short.
