I thought that Twister was really cool, I think it would do better with fewer people on it at a time, although the lines would be longer, but if you are on the side like i was, you dont get the same expirience as someone who is more towards the middle.

This show is a bit of a stinker. The pre-show rooms are cramped, and the pre-show movie is worthless. With Bill Paxton hosting you know it isnt going to brilliant. On to the show itself, the special effects are surprisingly cheesy and the tornado is far from impressive. The volume is way too loud and not enoyable at all. The cow effect is laughable. Disappointing show.

The effects are good. In the pre show room look at the ceiling. They put a car up there.

I dont know why people are giving this ride bad reviews. To me, twister is a very good ride, depending on the day you ride it. Some days, the "Tornado" is rediculously small but others it can get huge, taking up most of the "Parking lot". The effects are very cool as well (Except for the cow, you can see the strings) but the cow makes the guests laugh. The ending where the floor drops, that scares most people... but didnt it drop more when it first opened? At the end of the "Ride" most of the guests clap and cheer. I know locals want to get rid of this ride to make room for a new one, but cant they get rid of ET or BTTF first?

A really good ride/show. The wrecked house is a nice touch, and some of the effects were cool. I didnt see any strings on the cow, but of course I wasnt looking for them (cause I wasnt expecting the flying cow). The sign blowing away was an amazing effect. I wish they showed you how they reset the ride like they do on Earthquake though.

When this first opened, I rode it one time on a visit, before I got an annual pass for the park, and I thought it was an amazing ride. Now, I have an annual pass and have ridden it a few times, its not as amazing. It seems like the explosion at the end isnt as big as it used to be, and I think when it first opened, the building you are standing in gets lifted up off the ground so the ground is constantly rising and lowering. Now they just drop you once at the end. And the preshows are way too long. But its still a cool ride/show.

this show thing was awesome. I like the visual effeccts, the way the cow flies away and the twister, it looked very real. the fire was also pretty neat

Most people seem to think that this ride has poor special effects because, for example, you can see the strings for the cow. If you would have been paying attention to the videos at the beginning, you would know that this ride was supposed to simulate what the actors went through. They probably would have been able to see the strings! I think that it is a great ride and definately worth doing.

some cool affects but i was expecting much more and that cow,OOOOH it was awesome,yep the best part. i really did like that freaky craped up house you walk through though.it wwas really creepy!

Twister was actually pretty cool. I wasnt expecting much, so I guess I was pretty shocked when there were so many special effects. I love the flying cow too!
