While this side of the theatre still has much to learn from the surprise hit in 7th Portal, I still found it to be a decent thrill to help you get out of the heat and into a giggle-box theatre which is what this really is. Im looking for a lot more quality to come into this place next year since the popularity for this is completely unmatchable to 7P. I think we all know the park can do better, but at least they are trying to have a second film for variety, so this one Im more than enthusiast about being here.
I just dont understand why PKI insists on putting so-so simulator movies into the ACTION THEATER. Especially with a great one running on one side (7th Portal). This one is smoother and nicer than SMASH FACTORY, but is overall unexcitable. Decent graphics, but an uninvolving and confusing plotline ... and I still wonder why sooooo many simulator programs involve an inept pilot/driver. Good for kids, but PKI desperately needs a stronger and better attraction in this half of the theater.
Better than average simulator film and the format of the FX Action Theatre adds so much to the overall ride atmosphere since you can feel the thrills with a great amount of people. Theres nothing I like more at parks that enjoying a ride with loads of other people and seeing their reactions, so even before I start, Im already hyped up. The film itself is good, family, action-filled fun which the park has done considerably well at over the past few years. Ive always been a fan of space anything, so this is a must for me.
