I hate flat rides and this is my all time favorite rides. The themeing is amazing and the ride actually "uses" its environment to enhance the experience rather then using props to make it look good. Insane is the best word for it. Too bad the loading times couldnt be improved.

TOMB RAIDER IS MY FAVORITE RIDE AT PKI! it is so-well done and soo awesome in various ways that I cannot describe! I have rode almost every themed ride at all the Disney and Universal, including spider-man (which I thought was pretty dang boring) and the Tower of Terror ( no. 2 on my top ten). This is on par with all of those and is totally inventive! it doesnt feel like a top-spin at all! great job PKI! SIDE NOTE: THE RIDE LENGTH IS EXACTLY 2MINS 30SEC. LONG! THE SECOND LONGEST RIDE IN THE PARK!

Despite all the wining that many people like to do about this ride- Tomb Raider was a great success in my eyes. PKI has only a few flat rides, and this makes their collection of attractions more balanced. The themeing is unmatched by any other Mid-West park- they did a great job. The top spin circuit is a blast- and I have heard that it gets better all the time. I love it!

I was pretty dissappointed in Tomb Raider. I did not know what to expect, but I did expect more then just a highly themed top spin ride. And it was not really a good ride at that. It is short for the wait, the ride ops were sooo inefficant, it took longer to load the ride then to ride the ride, and you do just a few flips, most of the ride is spent hanging upside down, boring. It is a bad ride themed around a bad movie.

Wow! What a ride! If you ride it, dont let anyone tell you anything about it. Not knowing what to expect is what makes the ride so much fun! The only thing I found disappointing was the opening video - its just film clips from the movie. It would have been nice if they had shot some additional footage just for the ride.

Good thing I was one of the first to ride it that day, and didnt have to wait in line to long The ride is great but too short. You get dripped on a little and it swings you around in a Tomb Raider like room and its alot of fun. Most people I know were scared the statues would pop out at them, but they dont, and its not really scary at all. REMEMBER: Put your glasses, keys, wallet, and anything else that might fall off you or out of your pockets in the little case infront of where you sit. It is *highly likely* they will be lost on this ride if you dont

Everything I expected, nothing I didnt. Great theme, great ride. Still doesnt beat Flying Eagles as best flat ride in the park though. Not as good a theme as Disney, Universal, or Busch IMO. Quick note.. you may get wet on this ride.

Ok, this is a great ride, but since this is the only top spin ride Ive ever been on, its hard for me to compare. The theming in the line was incredible! It is SOOO CREEPY! If you have seen the movie, it makes the whole experience so much better. The ride is incredible, but two points were taken off because it is very short. If they flipped you and had the ride go for a little longer, it would be a 10! 1 sugestion, see the Tomb Raider movie before you ride it!

A very good ride. I waited about 2 hours to ride the first time I rode it. The outside queue only has some speakers of creepy music and some bamboo looking light posts with flickering lights. Once you get inside though...WOW! What excellent themeing! On par with IOA and Disney. This top spin is massive! I rate it an 8 since it needs more flipping and longer ride time. The park did a very good job emursing you into the experience. Thank you Paramount.

I expected a lot more from this ride, seeing as how PKI hyped it up so much. I was hoping for something along the lines of Spiderman, and what I get is a giant top spin in a box. The theming in the queue line is excellent. They obviously put a lot of money into it. Unfortunately, its all just theming for a Giant Top Spin, which isnt even used to its full potential. You only flip a few times, the rest of the time youre being held in place, looking at something. Hanging above fake looking fire and below fake looking ice isnt really that thrilling. if we had flipped a few more times after hanging over the "fire", I think I would have been more satisfied.

For all the effort they put in theming this rides queue, its too bad that they didnt bother to even add a simple storyline to follow. The "Preshow" is nothing more than action clips from the movie. I guess Im spoiled by Universal, Islands of Adventure, and Disney World for themed rides... but thats what my standard for highly themed rides is, and TR didnt quite do it for me.
