The Lost Coaster is DEFINITELY an upgrade--in the right direction from the old ride. Seems it went from one extreme to the other!!! It was a fun ride I thought--definitely more exciting and very sporadic--you cant really see whats next. I think that greatly adds to the thrill. Well have to keep riding to see whats next!!

Definetly not for the weak. I guess it just hit my thrill factor and funnybone just right.

I will say this, It is to rough for some and I think the winter of 2002-2003 improvements will make the ride more ridable for everyone.

This is undoughtedly a runaway mine car. My gosh, it is insane. I couldnt stop laughing during this ride. It doesnt seem to get very fast, but the bounces and turns are nuts.

As much as I love Indiana Beach, their other coasters, and woodies in general, LoCoSuMo is easily the biggest mess of a wooden coaster Ive ever been on. The trains are so bouncy and jerky that you cant ever enjoy the ride and this comes from someone whos a regular at PKI and loves the two Beasts. I knew not to look for a regular CCI, a smooth ride, and anything of that nature, but the half-finished nonsense and headache I left the ride with just wasnt fun at all. I would be lying if I gave it a higher rating and was originally going to hand over the 1/10. I really hope IB does something to it over the off-season, because for now, Im not favoring the ride at all.

This is the best "runaway mine car" coaster I have ever been on. Yeah, its jerky, rough, and bone-jarring (you are warned about this by the signs in the queue line), but wouldnt a runaway mine car be like that? Make sure you ride this coaster backwards. My dad (who is 72) and I did. After going around the tight curves, Id look at the track and think, "How did we just make it around that curve?" Before you ride it, however, make sure you ride the Train and the Antique Cars - they both give a good view of the track as it goes in and out of the mountain.

This coaster was decent. The capacity is bad, and the ride is way too rough and shaky, its easy to get hurt. Im glad IB kept some of the old SuMo theming though, and some parts are fun.

Okay ... here we go. 1st of all, this is a PHENOMENAL ride and probably the most unique wooden coaster Ive ever ridden. I simply loved this ride. Ill admit, I do enjoy wooden coasters that can kick your *ss (like THE BEAST), and this one does it in a very fun way. It is a bit jerky at times, but it is certainly no worse than the newer mouse coasters ... and, frankly, the jerks here are more fun and more appropriate than the slams I get from when a mouse coaster goes through a simple turn. Most other people in my party had some objections to it, but I LOVED it 100%. I literally was laughing and chearing the whole way. In addition, I heard not one complaint from other families as they disembarked from the ride, all I saw were smiles and laughter. The small drops and sudden changes freak you out more than you might think, given their small size, and you literally dont know whats going to happen next. Id be frightened to see how fast this coaster would feel if they didnt use the brake inside the mountain, because it flies now. This off-season, IB is going to finsh rebuilding the mountain itself, add the themed elements back inside, smooth out the rough spots on the outside track (now that CCI is defunct), and replace all the seat belts with ones similiar to the CORNBALL EXPRESS. Really look for this ride to "come alive" next year!!! To all riders, BEWARE, do not let the small size or the "family" label fool you on this coaster .. this is one wild, wicked, mean, intense, fun, crazy, fast, insane ride ... and I LOVE IT!!!!

WOW! A very unique ride. Although bone jarring is an understatement, its very bumpy, but not in a bad way. I had 5 great rides and the double down is the very best part. Its got great laterals and some nice air in the back seat. Sitting backwards or fowards makes no difference, this is one great fun ride.

This is so different than the Cornball or Hurricane. Its one suprise after the other because you cant at hardly any part of the ride see 5 feet in front of you. Whats more is it is not finished. The theming needs to be added. I cant wait!
