It was over 90 degrees and the humidity was 100 percent, so this was a fun little break from the other rides. Kind of cheesy, but an interesting look into Irish myths as well.

ok i rode this during the 2005 season, and alot has changed. It seems different. The ride is alot smoother, but it is still not worth more than a 10 minute wait.

EXELLENT ride. my favorite of the park. the only thing i dont like about it, though, is it is NOT meant for rain. the first time we went on it, it broke down right in the theatre, and we waited over 30 mins. but a few hours later we went back, and there was no wait at all. though the part where you fall in the sky is a bit breath taking, id do it again!

This is a well developed ride that must be done on a hot day to avoid melting outside. I liked the preamble of the story but after being in the dark so long I just wanted the ride to start. Now to the ride - an excellent simulator. The ride through the woods on the horse, which was excellent, reminded me of one of my first horseback riding experiences. I really got a kick out of watching those in front of me turning their heads and ducking from the tree branch head choppers. Im surprised other found the story hard to follow it made sense to me.

I am so glad they replaced the King Arthur sim with this one! Much Much Better! I do miss Quest Star though. Corkscrew hill has a cute story and great movement effects. The only modern sim that beats it is Spiderman.

Corkscrew Hill is a blast. The plot is simple, fun and effective. Visually, its very impressive with many different types of creatures and changes of scenery. The themeing is also very impressive and creates a great atmosphere for the ride.

This ride is not worth riding when you go to Bush Gardens, and ill tell you why: #1- The wait when I went on it was a disaster. The line took forever, and the dark hallways make you think they go on forever, not a nice place to wait. #2- This isnt really anything bad. On the contrary, this is a good aspect. The Whole beginning sequence was pretty cool. The Little irish dude turns you into a leprichan, and you feel as if you actually turned into a leprichan! (now back to the bad stuff...) #3. The rides plot made no sence. First, your in a box in a pub, and then your on a flying horse, going into a castle full of ghosts, and then your falling. What just happened, I may ask? So, as you can planely see, this ride stinks, only average. Quick sum up: A bad simulater with a horrible waiting line, good pre show, and a very, VERY confusing plot.

Can you say "creepy"? I didnt like this very much. It was a nice escape from the heat and nothing more. I would have been very upset if I had had to wait more than a few minutes to ride this. BG (both the one in Virginia and the one in Florida) should really look into putting up some real dark attractions instead of just putting up crap like this. This was one teeny, tiny step above Akbar at BG: Tampa (I think its defunct now, though, thank goodness) and it was still totally awful! My idea for a good dark ride at BG: Williamsburg would probably involve the Tower of London...it would fit, wouldnt it? This is pretty poor though. Good thing the roller coasters at this park are amongst the best in the country (if not the world).

I have nothing against Corkscrew hill except that it just wasnt fun to me. Im also unsure about the line. It took 1/2 hour in April! I cant imagine riding in the busy season.

A profound disaster and an embarrasment to Busch. Althought an element a story is there, the movie is made to jump from one jerky element to the next. A friend and myself rode all four roller-coasters in two hours, but got sick on this ride.
