I honestly dont know what all the fuss is over this ride. Yes, it is smooth and has a great element in the pretzel loop, but that is about it. The flying sensation is nothing great to me. You are facing straight down so there is no sense of speed whatsoever...not to mention the ride is not very fast to begin with. After the pretzel loop there are a few turns that are very ho-hum. The only reason they are even remotely exciting is that you are within a few feet from the ground below. Flyers just dont do much for me. This blows away the uncomfortable Vekoma flyers, but the rides sensation is what doesnt excite me much. The visuals are interesting, but to be honest I *like* seeing the track. It lets you see the speed. Batman is still the best coaster in the park despite the fact that its a clone.

The Funnest ride in the whole park, the only problem is you get clausterphobic because your locked in the restraints and you can barely move but it makes up for that in thrills

this is the best coaster of all time by far! the pretzel loop is amazing and the seats are really comfortable. there are a lot of close encounters with the ground that make the ride a lot more exciting. you pull some insane gs, but its just missing a little pizzaz

Wow, this coaster is great. The Metropolis Park area and theming, along with the queue is certainly above average for Six Flags. The first hill and dive into the pretzel loop pulls insane gs and is so fun. The barrel roll at the end is so underrated. This is no doubt the best flying coaster on the plantet! I rode this twice today, Awesome ride! The pretzel loop was sweet, especially where you are on your back and go down head first, awesome Gs! I loved the theming, it definetly spiced up the cotton states. The flying position is cool. Be sure to hit this one first as the lines will be shorter the earlier in the day. If it is raining at all it will not run, so be weary of rain. This ride actually made my head feel better after riding the Ninja, I dont know how. Great ride, great theming, a must ride if you are anywhere close to SFOG.

The Metropolis area surrounding the coaster is themed nicely with some cool life size 2D figures of the Superman characters along the queue. As we were waiting, we kept wondering why there was all this screaming on the platform before the ride even began. Once we saw how fast the train swept into the flying position, we knew what all the commotion was about. Once you sit into the unbelievably comfortable seat and restraints, the train lifts you up within two seconds, as you’re off to experience the ride.

Just being in the flying position even up the lift hill is a pleasure to do, but once you take off down the first drop, the ride lets you know you’re on it! As we hit the bottom and were soaring up the second hill, my sister said something about it being really fun so far. We were looking at each other and all of the sudden we’re thrown like rag dolls through the air into the pretzel loop into a mind boggling rush of forces coming at you from all sides. When someone talks about Insane Pretzel Loop Action, that’s an understatement! This has to be the single best element I’ve ever been through on a coaster and I highly recommend coming for Superman alone if you’re in reach of the park! The rest of the ride has interesting twists, turns, and thrills that don’t let up and I have no reason to think the P-Loop is anti-climatic at all. It may seem short, but I think the length is perfect and enough to keep you coming back for more. I want one at PKI! Like loriu said, Vekoma what? Wonderful ride experience!

This is one of the coolest roller coasters I have ever been on. The first drop was awesome, especially when you nearly collide with the walkway covers, and head straight into the pretzel loop. The pretzel loop is the most disorienting thing I have ever experienced on a roller coaster. The gs were very heavy. After that you make a 270 degree turn over the walkway and dive staright for the ground. Do a 180 degree turn over the station, another 180 degree turn, a tuneel, carosel turn and a barrel roll. In the barrel roll, I didnt know what to do with myself.

I think this ride is over rated. Its a good ride with a crazy element. The pretzel loop on this ride is incredible. the pretzel loop gets a 10+. The rest of the ride get a 6. Its way too short, it doesnt do much after the pretzel loop. Im not an inversions person but this ride needs more inversions. I left the ride saying "thats all??" The seats are very confortable, theres great theming its nice and smooth it just needs more. More track more inversions or something. Personally I like Batwing better except for the seats.

Excellent coaster and the pretzel loop is INTENSE!!! The feeling of flight is spectacular and B&M pulls off the loading with great ease.

If it was longer it would have gotten a 10. Its picking up speed throughout the season so far so I bet come mid summer itll be haulin butt!
