This was my first flying coaster and it met, but did not exceed, my expectations. The pretzel loop was by far the best part of the ride. The dive straight down caught me by surprise, and the Gs at the bottom were intense. It is definitely a "must-ride" unless the line is over an hour long(which often happens on crowded days).
I love these beemer flying coaster , they are just so much fun. Of course the best part is without a doubt the entrance of the pretzel loop, but the rest is still awesome. These coasters arent intense, but fun.
Superman is a cool coaster, but come on! What about the one in SFGA? that is the exact same one, down to the last foot!
This is a really fantastic rollercoaster. The scenery was very unique because it has all of the different Superman characters from all of the different comic books.I felt so safe in the harnesses because it was like wearing a vest that coveres your entire body.I love the swooping, nose-bleed first drop and the horseshoe turnes near the end of the ride, but the best part was without a doubt the double looping pretzel inversion.First, you dive strait down and then you catch all of these Gs at the bottom. You then exit the loop beck where you started. The fanally was also a very cool element. It was a very strang feeling to take a barrel roll on the edge of the track instead of on the inside.I certanly recomend this rollercoaster to anyone who could possibly ride it.
It is so much better than the one at SFGAM. This one is just more fun. Same basic layout but it is better. I believe it because this was put in a spot that had a fun ride and the one in chicago was placed where shockwave was and now that superman is haunted.
Amazing thing is the variance in this rating and for SFGAdv for the same ride. Rode in front and back. The intensity of the first loop in the back seat was unreal. Is a little uncomfortable trying to hold your neck up watching everything and waiting for the train to pull back into the station. I like it better than SFGAdv since SFoG has the ability to load two trains at a time making for a faster queue
This was my first flyer and definitely a unique experience for me. I found the pretzel loop to be absolutely incredible. As others have said, the flying position can be uncomfortable on the neck. Overall I found it to be a fun coaster.
i got to ride it in the front and the back, so let me say this....same view, different felling!!! in both places the gs at the bottom on the loop are insane (thought they are thougher in the back) and i love the near misses on the tunrs. the only problem was that is was very short...oh yeah, and cant forget the incedibly long time ur just hanging there on the brakes at the end, that can hurt after a while!!! perfect ride though!
Pretzel loop should be experienced by everyone both in the front(great air just before you drop) and in the back(killer gs at the bottom of the loop), but the short length of the ride keeps it from being a 10.
This ride was my absolute favorite at the park. The pretzel loop was amazing (Expecially in the back row) if you ever get around to riding this... go for it, even if the line is long. Oh, and people have described the pretzel loop as intense, but words cant describe HOW intense it is!
