The best part was the cold dome at the end, oooh so nice in that hot 104 degree heat!
I think this sim turned out great for the audience it was targeting (families). The exhibit afterwards is really the big draw here. The Polor bears are HUGE, they took my breath away!
Star Tours is WAYYY better but it is still coo. The timing with the motion and video are kinda skrewed up a bit but itz still a good ride. But there were no Polar Bears when I went.
This is my favorite animal exhibit and the theme works great. I think the ride itself is ok, just not up to Star Tours. (I consider spiderman to be more on the lines of Dinosaur than the regular simulator.) The ride is good as long as you dont go right after the Shamu show is over because the lines get long.
I disliked the simulator ride; it is nowhere near as good as the others in town (OK, its better than Body Wars). The best part of this attraction is the animal habitats which follow the ride--they are top notch, among the best in the park. Its too bad they dont let you skip the ride.
Ok..... this was too short, but still fun, the animals were really cool at the end. Also It had some Air-Time.....
Simulater is fun but short. Best attribute is the polar bears, beluga whales, and walruss at the end of the ride.
The 6 is a combination of the simulator and animal habitats. The animal area has good views, but the simulator is really crap. Try it for the animals, not the ride.
Looked at as a simulator, it was okay (not much to compare it on here)... but the part that I liked were the exhibits that followed. You are still inside, but the domed ceiling made you think you were in the arctic "twilight". Here you will find the habitats of the Polar Bear, Beluga Whale, and the Walrus. Not much to see "above the water" except for the Polar Bear, however on the lower level where you view the different areas "below the surface" is wehre they shined. Where else can you experience a close swim by with a huge walrus... only a few inches/feet (and one thick piece of plexi glass) separating the two of you.
i liked it. Sephs right about the average orlando sim but spidy is an exception.
