Like the review below, Kraken was also my second floorless (after Hydra) and its safe to say its the best Ive been on so far. Its much smoother and more comfortable, and "flows" very well. The park wasnt that crowded so it had very short waits, and being a single ride meant it was mostly a walk on all day for me. Very fun and fast, and gave me a much better impression of a floorless then Hydra.

Kraken was my 2nd floorless, and after being disappointed by my first (Sream! @ SFMM) I was hoping this would be better. I was not disappointed here, as I was treated to one of the most intense B&Ms I have been on. The first drop is great, especially in the back row, and every single inversion has some great forces. The intensity of this ride really surprised me, especially since when, while watching the ride, I had thought that it looks fairly slow. It is anything but slow though, as it really moves through its course with not only speed, but grace and intensity too. Typical B&M smoothness is also abundant here, making for a comfortable, fun-filled ride. Definitely the best ride at SWO, and it checks in at #2, in between Hulk and Kumba when comparing those 3 fantastic B&M sit-down loopers.

What can I say... awsome coaster, the first drop is pretty nice. The speed is excellent. First loop is like a 100+ feet high. The inversions are all a blast. It is one of thoes few coasters that is a joy to ride everytime. Its not so much how much this how much that.. it somthing you can ride and enjoy.

The theming could use a little work, having something more to look at as you go threw the ride other then a service road under you would be nice.

Overall thoe this is one of my favorites.

Kraken is awesome! Very smooth. Loved all the inversions and subterranean dives. Very good floorless!

FANTASTIC ROLLER COASTER. Kraken took me by suprise, I had seen the photos and heard the love, but it never really looked special to me. Well, two rides later, is has proven itself worthy to me... worthy of my top 10.
Kraken was designed wonderfully. As you pass over the crest of the lift and make a turn to hit the first drop, you are given a great view. On that drop, commence weightlessness that rivals that of a hypercoaster. The OTSRs dont interfere too much, and then begins the glass-smooth series of inversions. The loop is great, the dive loop is sleek and the cammelback zero-G roll on the Floorless coasters continue to flat out kick butt. After passing through the corba roll and barke run, the second half was filled with suprises and excitement to me. It is what really made the ride great - some B&Ms tend to weaken after the brakes (Hulk & Montu, for example) but Kraken delivers. A typical vertical loop dug into the trenches a la Montu, followed by a wrap around turn through a tunnel in which riders on the left side of the train get a little misting from the waterfalls. An excellent tunnel in my opinion. The ride finishes solid and after dismbarking I was struck with awe.
I didnt expect it to be as good as it was. Kraken reall impressed me a lot, and I cant complain about anything. It did something I wasnt sure was possible - it beat Medusa BY A LOT for my favorite floorless (out of five). It comes away vying for a spot in my top 10, and though it doesnt quite crack my TPC Top 10, it does slide into the steel top 10. It has tied Top Gun as my favorite B&M Looping coaster. Easily a top 5 B&M on my personal list. Oh, the accomplishments go on.I really wanted to give Kraken a 9, since its more of a 9.5 than anything. However, Medusa got a 9 and it just isnt on the same level as Kraken. Ill go with the 10 and do what Ive been meaning to do: upgrade Jet Coaster to a 10 as well, bringing the number of steel coasters to be awarded a 10 by me to six. Great job Kraken, you deserve it!!

This was a great coaster. I could ride it over and over again. I like how they used the story of the Kraken. This was a great addition to seaworld, I think it really helps their crowd to stay up like it has been. Hopefully they will top this one off with an even better one someday.

This is a great coaster and could be argued as the best in the state. This was my first experience with a B&M floorless and I absolutely loved it. It has elements that coaster lovers across the board can appreciate. The first drop get things started well with a smooth swift drop. The vertical loop is nothing great. The ride really begins at the dive loop that gets the heart racing. Next, is the best element in my opinion with the zero-G roll. I have never really been afraid of falling out of a coaster before, but the first time through this loop was just strange. After that it just continues with greatness with the cobra roll and loop through the tunnels. A great ride is all I can say and ride it early and often. Also check out the observation area to watch others screaming their heads off and the Kraken eggs at ride exit.

This is my favorite metal coaster! It is smooth, a lot of fun, and all the inversions are great on this floorless masterpiece! I think it has a great combination of different inversions, and I love how the floor moves away from you before you take off from the station with your feet dangling.

One of my favorites is also one of the coolest. Kraken is based over water, land and under tunnels. The g-forces are perfect and so are the inversion. I would start with this coaster before Montu and definitly Hulk.

A nice, smooth ride, almost gentle really. Not incredibly intense or thrilling, but some good loops. I think a better story would make it more memorable.
