Eh, I must say I was surprised by its speed through the first loop and it definitely was more intense without the OTSRs. Fun little coaster, felt more like a fairground ride than anything else (which is definitely conveivable considering its a Schwartzkoph ride). Still, its way too short (though the helix ending was interesting), theres not enough leg room, and they were only running one train, which actually produced a decent wait.
My least favorite ride at BGT. It is old, so I do realize that I shouldnt expect much, but it really doesnt have any elements that are intense enough to get the heart racing. The loop is lackluster and the helix is to tight and short. Definately a ride to skip if you only have one day at BGT.
A small and even slightly fun looper with no OTSRs, which always make things more interesting. However, its shaky, loud, rough, and not comfortable. The layout is basic, and Id more expect to find this in a fairground rather than a major park. I was hoping for a ride more like the super-intense Lazer at Dorney Park, but instead it was lacking intensity and not as fast as Id hoped. Decent enough, but nothing special.
I didnt really like it. The lift was kind of clicky, and the top just plain looked crappy. Nothing was too exciting, and the loop really wasnt anything special. The whole lapbar thing didnt add anything at all to the ride, and the end wasnt intense either. I dont recommend riding this unless youve never been on one, are a beginner, or want to increase your coaster count.
Scorpions a nice lil ride thatll make a great 1st looper for kids. The twisting drop was nice & going through the loop was even better as I didnt expect it to be as intense & fun as I wouldve thought. Try to ride Scorpion at least once when youre at BGT just to experience a small looper that can pack a powerful punch for an impeccably small 65 ft. coaster.
A short and sweet coaster, smoother than I expected. Lots of G-Forces in the loop, and a nice dizzying helix to complete a nice ride.
The lapbar thing seemed strange, but adds to the enjoyment, not that high, but good beginner coaster.
A great Schwartzkopf Single Looper. These are always fun as they all go 50mph in a oddly round loop while youre only in a lapbar!
Pretty fast, intense ride, considering its not that high or long, and this is the only looping coaster Ive ever been on that has no OTSRs, which just adds to the excitement of the ride cuz you feel like youre about to fall out when you go thru the loop.
This roller coaster may look small and lame but it does have alot of good sides to it.1 when you go down the first drop you reach speeds up to 55miles per hour.2 A nice 360 degree loop wich you can tell.3 A series of intense helixes that will make you have a great time.4 Of course people who have ridden the scorpion have notice you have just a lap bar that adds the intenseness to this looping coaster.5 Also I might add the line is ushually not fearly long on this coaster.6 This ride is good for beginner coaster riders and most begginers love it.The Scorpion was my first roller coaster and I will always ride the scropion when im at busch gardens.those are 6 good reasons why the scorpion is good when your at busch gardens you should ride the scorpion and fell the STING.
