I got lucky and made it 3 for 3 on the Giant Boomerangs, riding Deja Vu at SFMM, SFoG and SFGAm. I dont care that its a clone. Giant Boomerangs are so much smoother and more intense (especially the backwards loop) than the regular ones. It is an extremely fun ride. But ride it early before the lines build becuase of the low capacity.

I love Deja Vu. It puts a finishing touch on the Six Flags Great America skyline. As your driving northbound on I-94, Deja Vu sticks out like a sore thumb, BUT in a good way. Every ride on Deja Vu is a unique experience.

This is the first dejavu that Ive even seen operating. So kudos to the GA staff. At least you can open yours up unlike MM. The wait was about an hour, and it was rather interesting. We saw the lift cable let go of the train to early. The train rolled back and had to go up again. There was only one break down the whole time we were in line. This added about 10 minutes to the wait but hey, we got to ride it. We sat in the 5th row back from the front. The lift hill up was fun, but it hurt your chest. Our car was let go - giving me a good freefalling sensation. We whizzed through the station, and went through the cobra roll. There was very little head banging for a vekoma. It still isnt B&M smooth, but I was surprised. We went through the loop and did the course backwards. It seemed a little bit rougher going back, but thats typical of all boomerangs. So, to wrap it up, this is probably the best boomerang Ive gone on. However, its rarely ever open and the reliability is horrible. This brings it down a point. The horrible color scheme also lowers the rating. What the heck were they thinking? Green on blue? Thats hideous!

this ride is intense. When you get pulled up and just hang there its great. Going backwards is also a rush. It was closed most of the day so thats why I give it a 9 not a 10

Let me start by saying this is the first boomerang i would ever ride again. APPEARANCE-4 definately the worst part of the ride, going neck and neck with capacity. The track was repainted partial but the blues dont match so the ride looks like it has a disease. No real scenary either. RIDE QUALITY-9 just a little head banging nothing major, the restraints are pretty good also. CAPACITY-5 for a boomerang they actually load decently quick, but it still takes forever. they also lose points for the mess that is the loading station. FUN-10 I had a great time and it was quite a rush. definately a surprising rating here. RERIDE-7 i would do it again but line is a huge factor and what my agenda for the day contains. an above average chance i will try it again, but not a guarantee. OVERALL-35 AVG-7 First time my new scale was actually different from my impulse. it felt more like an 8 but score a 7 so 7 it is, maybe the paint will look right next time to help it out.

Deja Vu is one of the most unique rides ever built. The loop is huge the drop is huge, and its 90 degrees, and the butterfly element is huge. It is the best ride of its kind ever built. It is a very intense ride, and I would say that the line is pretty much worth it. Although it is rarely ever open if you get a chance to ride this beast you are one of the lucky ones.

Fun and screams. Dats what i like and dats what i got. Intense, scary, and unique dicribe this one. Although i do know another DJV was built before this one at a different six flags. I wish Great America could come up with more on their own. There arent that many coasters that they made first, except Raging Bull, Viper(sort of), Eagle, Iron Wolf, Demon, Batman, and Whizzer. Come to think of it there is alot.

A very instense ride, when its working. Some like the front, but for me like on V2, nothing beats that drop from the first spike in the back row.

amazing feeling you really do need to go on it to understand its crazy and wild and really fast but one of the best parts was being taken up the first lift youre litterally laying against the harness its a very uneasy fealing noing that if that thing comes undune youre gonna fall straight down into the car in front of you and then down to the ground and instantly die!!!!.............very fun feeling!
