This is a fun coaster, with some great dips on it, and a nice drop. The best is going through the Dragons Mouth and the mist sprays you. It is also a classing 1920s coaster, so that is what brings it to a 10. The cars are also pretty comfortable.

This was a really good coaster, I loved the first drop and When the train goes in the dragon I thought it was going to hit the top of the inside of the dragons mouth. Best ride in playland

Great classic ride. I sat in the front seat and was a little bit disappointed. Then I sat in the back and was very impressed. The first drop was outstanding and some of the drops after had some great airtime too. Dont expect too much airtime at the top of hills. Love going into the dragon with the mist. Very cool!!

Man, I havent been on this in years, and my memory is a little fuzzy, but this is a classic New York ride. I remember going through a tunnel which was pretty cool. In addition to the "Fatal Attraction" reference below, the Dragon Coaster was also featured in Mariah Careys "Fantasy" video.

A fun ride, but not thrilling; it wasnt designed to be(the Aeroplane WAS.) A true "family coaster" in every sense of the word. I agree with earlier posts that if the original Prior & Church trains were still run (or modern replicas thereof) this ride would rate higher. There are still some really interesting features though: track at one point briefly stacked four (!) high, flanged top wheels, a long curving station with manually operated skid brakes, and a really long, complicated layout. Its funny to watch this ride in action in "Fatal Attraction"; it looks so much more intense then it was designed to be. Maybe someday, Rye will rebuild the Aeroplane and well be able to experience Fred Churchs real masterpiece.

This is a pretty weak ride. its not unpleasnet or rough. The moragn trains arent really all that uncomfortable.

But I really think it would run better with different rolling stock. regardless of where you sit theres almost no air time, even going down the two double dips.

A very unusual layout and a great tunnel dont make up for the negatives. Its missing speed, air time, good laterals and comfortable cars.

You get some airtime, lots of it, and you also go in a tunnel, thats a cool element. Overall one of my favorite woodies.

Okay, the ride has history. And I was not expecting a "thrill machine", but a more tame coaster... it would rate a 8 IF it would use its original style trains or PTCs. HOWEVER... those plastic Morgans are a crime.
