The greatest freefall ride invented. The tilt gives it a great effect when youre up there. Its not very tall, but this baby packs a mean punch. Then when youre up there, its funny when you drop when she says,"dropping in 10, 9, 8," then you drop, its unexpected. A great ride overall.
The only ride that has truly scared me as an adult. Thrilling!
It is the best drop ride ever!
Great fear factor! Great view of Atlanta.
Just standing in line watching OTHER people on it is part of the fun!! Its a very thrilling ride. The best/worst part is sitting at the top waiting for the drop! Beyond description! Every time Im been to SFOG, Acrophobia has been down a lot. That lack of reliability is the only drawback to this ride.
By far the scariest ride ive been on. While u get closer to riding your stomach hurts due to anxiety. But once you ride you love it.
WOW! This is one ride that really messes with your mind. Most of the thrill for me came from the anticipation of it all. The only thing Id change is make it taller.
this ride is awesome and SCARY! this is the most scariest ride in the world!!! if climb to the top of a 200 ft. tower, tilt out 15 degrees and wait for about 15 seconds then WHOOSH! i love this ride!! if yoiu get to the park before it opens then wait until they open the gates and go ride like the cyclone of mine train and go back to acrophobia....barely any wait.. my freinds and i rode it like 5 times straight without any major wait
just amazing idea for the tilt at the top
I was thinking this would be just another dropping ride, but boy was I terribly wrong! The very first time I rode this monster, I sat in a seat facing the Cyclone and just watched it shrink right between my feet as we went up to the top of the 200 ft tower. Now of course I was REALLY scared because this was the tallest dropping ride Ive ever ridden, secondly, I was STANDING UP! But I knew there was one last element, the tilting. When the seats finally did lean forward, it felt like I was facing straight down. All I could see was the bottom of the tower 200 ft below my dangling legs with the micro blue car running around the Cyclone. It felt like they held me up there for hours before finally I heard the big BOOM and the ground came rushing up into my face. The falling never seemed to end until I finally heard another loud BOOM and the ride stopped only 10 ft above the ground. This was the first time EVER I just started laughing hysterically, I totally lost it! I was so exstatic that I had survived Acrophobia. I ended up doing it again that day and later the next day. But of all 3 seats I sat in. The seat facing the Cyclone was by FAR the scariest.
