The only thing I liked about this ride was the flybys, otherwise there was very little air time which kills my ratings for woodies.

While the Gs were tough on me at times, I have a lot of respect for both sides of Gwazi--they really demonstrate the impact of computers on all types of coasters. In this case, the concept of a dueling twister is taken to the absolute limits of what a human can withstand. I do not recommend that riders put their arms up on this one--not because you cant stand it, but because youre likely to injure the person next to you. Gwazi is a wild and wooly experience on both sides and features six fly-bys.

A brilliant wooden coaster. It is exhilarating and loads of fun. Its not the biggest or the fastest but is very exciting with the duelling effect

great, but when I went it wasnt dueling, so it wasnt as fun, but I was at the front row the time I rode it and the airtime was amazing and the helix or whatever before the lift lifted your adrenaline

Gwazi was a fun deuling coaster, but not as good as its later cousin at Hershey. The rough track and the light restraints make wooden coasters awesome and Gwazi was definately rough. Its too bad that a GCI can run so roughly, from overhead this has the potential to be another great ride. They love their twisting designs and beautiful woodwork at GCI, but these older ones and their PTCs can run a bit too roughly. I will certainly ride again and hope for the best, but this ride desperately needs Millennium Flyer rolling stock! It would be nice to see the park duel its dueler, but I guess thats too much to ask. I can understand if its busy and they want to keep the trains rolling as fast as possible but even on a day where everything except the front and back cars were walkons they didnt duel. Its kinda sad, though at least the ride looks pretty cool even if its in the middle of a field.

I think that the Tiger is way better that the Lion.It has more twist and turns. If you have not ridden ether the Lion or The Tiger you should try them both. And see witch one you liked better.

American Eagle at Six Flags Great America is better! Thats sad... The ride doesnt duel, load times were horrible (they would send one train empty to keep them from stacking, but the empty train always stacked... Why did they have the 2nd trains on if they werent going to use them?), there is no airtime, and its extremely rough.

Not a big fan of woodies, but this one is a throwback, which is always fun. Flybys are really cool also. UPDATE: i did give this an 8, but after riding it today, it felt smoother and more fun than last time.

Better than lion, the tiger side provides a wild thrashing ride thats best in the back.
