the line is always short for this ride(both sides), I love the airtime feel as you go down the first fall.
This is only my second woodie but out of the two this is my fav. I loved the drop! It also had great air time! It was way better than the cheetah at WildAdventures! Hint: Don t put your hands up! You will either injur yourself or the person sitting next to you! Very fast and awsome! Bummer though cuz when I went Lion was closed for some reason! A must ride to woodie fans! I even thought this was better than the Montu! (which was so forceful that it made me black out!)
This is the best wooden rollercoaster Ive ever been on!(Even though Ive only been on 3 or 4,lol) From what I can remember, it was smooth and just really fun. Its the second best ride in the park, next to Montu. A must ride if you visit.
I gave this a higher rating than the Lion because this side had a few harder bumps. Normally people dont like this, but I think it is great for a woodie.
How can anyone really enjoy this ride?
Sure its fun....until you ride *real* wooden coasters. Some good spots of airtime on Tiger, more than Lion at least. Dueling aspect is better on Tiger also, however, the ride is a lot more painful (depending on where you site) than Lion. Deserves to be demolished.
I wouldnt recommend this ride to anyone who doesnt like to get beat around. This ride will do it. Try both the Lion and Tiger, they feel like completely different coasters. Nice 0-G (if you lean forward and get a seat with a loose harness) and nice camel humps.
Even riding this 7 times in a row, it will not get boring.
Tip 1: Sit in the back row or front row.
Tip 2: If you put your arms up, watch out for the person sitting next to you and make sure you protect your ribs once the ride ends.
Tip 3: Best time to ride is at night, there are shadows everywhere. After the first drop, the camera will blind you will have no time to adjust your eyes.
Gwazi is proof that airtime is not a necessity for a good ride, even on a woodie. This coaster is all about unexpected turns and twisting drops, and another train flying by every few seconds makes it that much more exciting. Unfortunately, due to a thunderstorm, I was only able to get one ride on Gwazi, so I missed out on Lion.
Even though I like the lion better, there pretty much the exact same. I love all the drops and turns!! Gwazi is my favorite wooden coaster!! So I love both sides. Great woodie.
i hate woodys but this is my fav.much smoother than lion
Feels faster and more ferocious than Lion and the laterals really give an outstanding ride and show what a real wooden coaster can do. Isnt perfect for the slow crew and output as well as the dueling aspect, but one of the best coasters in Florida and a big eye opener if you dont know the types of strong forces to expect.
