Best ride Ive been on at BG Tampa (Montu was closed at the time.)It had the g-forces and it was a pretty long ride. Hard to find a flaw in my opinion. For the most part a critical person would find this ride air-tight.

I rode this in January and I guess it was alright.

This was only my third steel looper (SFOG Mind Bender and BG:T Scorpion being the first two) since becoming a coaster fanatic. I was introduced to elements not experienced in the two much older coasters I had ridden. I had a horrible fear of heights and this is the one, strangely enough, that has helped me get over that fear to a large degree. Maybe its because I ended up riding Kumba over a dozen times in the three days I spent at Busch Gardens. The drop is a fantasticly angled one that leads you into a monsterous loop (so much for Mind Bender) that had me and my loop loving wife cackling with laughter. The unfamiliar elements, like the immelman, were amazing. The zero G roll didnt particuarly feel zero G to me, but I love the disorienting nature of the forces it puts on my body. I loved the procession of elements that lead to the dark tunnel that, while scary enough for the darkness and closed surrounding, was even scarier somehow because of the reverberation of the train roaring in my ears. I couldnt believe the speed of this thing. To watch it is like watching greased lightning, to ride it much the same. The interlocking corkscrews were a great idea. Ill always and forever have a soft spot in my heart for this ride, though Montu takes first place even if my wife thinks this ride is king. But Kumba is an extremely close second to Montu, in all fairness. Superb fun.

I thought this was boring. The inversions were all right, but there wasnt anything special to me about this coaster. I bit bumpy for a steel coaster.

This coaster was probably my least favorite of the park, really. I felt Python was even smoother than this. Kumba seemed to speed to fast around the course which made the inversions rather jerky and forgetable. I didnt get any float time whatsoever on the G roll, again due to the speed. Probably my least favorite B&M. I bet this coaster was pretty good back when it opened in 93, but compared to B&Ms latest creations... it just isnt very gracefull. Still not an awful ride though.

A great coaster! not as good as Montu, but very good. the loop around the lift is SO fun. then the cobra roll around the rapids and in the trees is really fun. i would go on it again and again, but take a few breaks because this ride can get you dizzy.

Very fast, very intense. You will have a hard time keeping your hands up on this one. It does have a very good 0 G roll that just tops it off. It really doesnt matter where you sit you will feel the effects anywhere.

The fact that this coaster runs close to the ground, The loop around the lifthill and the best floating 0g roll on the planet make Kumba a big hit with me. Somehow this coaster did not follow the normal B&M in control at all times feeling. I liked it alot! Kumba Rocks!

Sweet ride. I rode it right before the park closed and there was nobody in line at all, so I got to ride 5 times straight without getting off. Great drop.

I did like this one, but my ears were so battered after I got off of it that I just couldnt do it again.
