This is a pretty decent ride. I really like how this is a back to basics sit-down ride. I love the Xs and TTDs of the world but this is almost as good in my opinion. I am a little mad at this one though, because B&M built this instead of Drachen Fire(my first job). Drachen Fire suffered the consequences and no longer exists. But I cant let that affect me. This is a very good coaster!

good coaster. Has anyone noticed that Kumba has the same layout as Medusa, and 7 other giant steel coasters? I mean its a curved drop, a loop, dive loop, zero-gravity spin, cobra roll, brakes, interlocking corckscrew?

A great coaster--and please, give it credit, it was built in 1993 and it matches even todays standards! Most of the rides built in 93 suck compared to todays! (Well, the ones I have been on) Anyway, on with the review. Kumbas layout is unique with the Congo Jungle Setting. The loop around the lift is HUGE, and the diving loop, camelback twist, cobra roll, and interlocking corkscrews are VERY fun. After those corkscrews, (which are the last inversion)however, you go into the infamous "Kumbas Den" which HURTS. And then the ride is over. Regardless of "Kumbas Den," the ride is great and a Do-Not-Miss!!

Kumba another busch gardens classic coaster.an africa kumba means "roar" and you deffintley hear the roar when your experiencing Kumba. This coaster is diffently a must see when your at busch gardens. It has a diving loop which is of course the first loop of the ride wich is 110 feet tall.also it has a 108 ft verticle loop wich is the largest verticle loop in the world.A double corkscrew twist wich i think is awesome and other loops twist and turns that will keep you screaming for a long time.Another good thing I find good about Kumba is the fact it always has a shourt line.I always ride kumba 8 or 7 times in a row because there really never a line.Kumba is an awesome coaster its one of the reasons y busch gardens is well known today.Once you ride Kumba youll know what the "roar"really feels like.

I really enjoyed this ride more than I expected. I didnt find it overly rough and the back row creates a great whip effect. If you sit on the left sideyour hands can actually hit a couple of leaves on the trees during the ride. The ride ops also let me keep my seat if no one was waiting for the same row.

Excellent ride! I rode it at 2004s Howl-O-Scream at night. Inversions were fast, and the drop was pretty cool. Minor Head banging on this ride. Overall, it is Must-Ride Attraction.

Once again, the ride id felt a lot more in the back row. it is true that a lot of wind is felt on the front row, but the ride is a major must on the back row.
