I LOVE this ride. Just phenomenal ... I love the dark ride scenery combined with the roller coaster. This is the kind of ride Id wish more parks would do. This is not a big or overly intimidating coaster, but its fun every single time and as really stood up over the years. Just as much fun now as it was when I was young. The first time you ride this, if you dont know what to expect and think its just a dark ride ... youre in for one of the biggest amusement park treats of your life.

One of the most unique and haunting dark coasters Ive ever experienced with the creepy animatronic characters and burning buildings that really give the sense that youre in for a scary getaway. I remember this well as a kid and at that time it was probably the best coaster to really get your heart pumping as you make unexpected jolts and drops and the run towards the oncoming train was just horrendous for a kid to experience. I highly recommend the coaster while keeping an open mind and if you really get into the ride, it can provide a decently thrilling escape. Major points for exceptional atmosphere and theming as well as being completely entertaining for the kind of ride it is.

The combination of dark ride theming, roller coaster speed, and the splashdown at the end makes for a really great ride. Its always been one of my favorites at Dollywood and it always will be. My whole family rides this ride. Even the ones who wont go on roller coasters. Its very fun. And a neat look back at what earlier coasters were like back when the Scenic Railways were popular.

Very good. I think the simplicity of the ride is the best thing. You dont expect much but you get alot. Its just a good ride, one you would ride more than once.

I loved the fact that you couldnt see where you were going. The front seat was the best, you really get a lot of airtime.

Not enough hills and dropps/turns, but the theming was good

real cool it doesnt have fast drops but they are steep i think theres three drops the splash down is cool.

This ride is some of the most fun Ive ever had. While the effects are definitely not Disney budget level, they have their own certain appeal. Blazing Fury is a great ride overall.

A really good coaster that uses Dollywoods themeing abilities to their fullest extent. This one lulls you to calm then kicks it up to full blast in a matter of seconds. (P.S. This ride is coming up for an update very soon. Should be even better when it happens.)
