I loved the Free Fall because it was my first dropping ride. I liked when it went up, and dropped you really fast! Then you end on your back. It also provides a thrill for people under 48 inches that cant ride Acrophobia.
This ride sucks, it hurts and it needs to come down!
i was scared to death of this the first time i was theeir but my brother draged me on it and i love it i might buy one for myself JK
When I first rode this ride 10 years ago it was pretty cool. It was the first free fall ride Id been on. I dont think theyve done a lick of maintenance on it since. Its jerky, harsh and looks like, um... heck. Dont bother with it, head for Acrophobia instead.
I just HATE this ride. Its old, jerky, and I almost broke my neck at the end. This is so bad, Six Flags doesnt even up keep it anymore because they have Acrophobia. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Definatly worth a ride. It can hurt a bit at the end before you return. the veiw is great looking out toards Atlantas skyline. I like the rush on the drop, very exiting. They should remove the buzzer it gives away the suprise a bit.
This ride is very dated. It looks old, it sounds old, it feels old. This ride has passed its peak. Skip it. There are far better rides you could spend your time on.
Free Fall as really free fell lately (mid 2002) and one of the few ride at SFoG I wouldnt mine to see taken down. Some people call it a classic, but IMO, its an Intamin piece of crap.
It HURTS BAD,in fact fact real bad i dont recomend this ride to anyone.
This ride is fun. The feel in your stomach is different than Acrophobias.I went to the park a 4 days ago and rode this ride. My aunt rode it with me and on the way down, her shoe came off. Six Flags did an O.K. job of trying to find it, but we still had to pay for some flip flops. I think six flags could have given her a new shoe, but they didnt. But the ride is still fun so I;ll only drp its rating by one point.
