A great ride with a huge drop and some great twists and turns at an insane speed.

X was closed when I went, and this was by far and wide the best coaster in the park. The drop is incredible, the floater air on the 3rd hill is a blast, and the helix-laden second half of the ride simply rocks! I have been on all the B&M hypers and most of the east-coast hypers including Millenium Force and both S:ROS designs. That said I put Goliath only behind S:ROS at SFNE, which is the perfect coaster. Golaith is glass-smooth, blazing fast, and loaded with power! Some people arent into Golaith because it is not an airtime machine...and they would be right. On the other hand it is simply one of the most exciting and intense rides on the planet, and that combined with its uniqueness makes it an exceptional ride.

This is a great ride, sure it doesnt have very many negatives, but it more than makes up for that with the fantastic helix. overall its the best ride in the park though I havent been on X.
Titan is a *little* bit better though.

One of the best rides here, a great first 2 drops and an amazing helix at the end that i got tunnel vision on. You have to ride this great monster.

Waited in line for about an hour and a half and worth every single foot cramp. In line during the switchbacks it is completely misted cooling it down, and making it seem even more dream like all the while hiding the next switchbacks. The lift is tall. My friend and I rode towards the back so once you go over the hill you cant actually see the drop until the front car is almost in the tunnel. You then blast up the second hill and halfway through the turn you just dive bomb it is also steep and intense. The bunny hop isnt extremly forceful but it gives you what seems like an eternity of floating. Then you twist up into the brake run and dive down into the overbank , but watch out fro some extreme headchoppers as you dive into the most insane and fun helix! A fast turn and you are into the last brake run where you can finally breath. Goliath is tall, fast and intense. Worth the wait and a complete ball. Only complaint I have and I mean ONLY complaint is there is only some floating on the first drop and some negative Gs on the bunny hop. Id like to see a coaster like Goliath with more airtime, it seriously would be one of the best ever.

This was my favorite coaster at SFMM before X. It still packs a huge punch. The first drop is KILLER, and the last helix is just mind-bending.

What a disapointment. A GREAT first and second drop, but after that, the ride, in one word: SUX. It has a very good helix, but in all honesty I am not a huge fan of helixes. They are more of "cherry on top", then the ice cream itself. Good to have, but not the reason why you ordered the sundae in the first place. Too bad they forgot the ice cream! There is NO airtime on this ride. That one little hill is the only glimpse of airtime you will see. There are no bunny hills on the entire ride, it is short, its not as smooth as Nitro...just not that great a ride. Also, Goliath is one giant turn. I dont know about you, but I dont ride hypers to turn, I ride them for drops, bunny hills and the airtime. What looked like would be a great ride turned out to be my least favorite coaster of the day. Ride it for the drop, but dont expect anything else...

The best word that describes this giant is unbelievable! The mist-filled tunnel, bunny hop, intense helix, and first drop are all out of this world. Altough it was short, it was still one of the best coasters I have ever ridden!

Still to this day, one of my favorite coasters. Has fallen a few times down my list but will always stick in the top 10.
