Great drop, needs to be a bit longer

This ride is amazing!!! The drop is unbelievable!!! This is definitely a must ride!

WOW the speed! the hight! the insane g-force on the helix AND glowing green track at night! all ads up to a 10 coaster!

Goliath was my first hyper coaster and I think its one the best ones Ive ever been on. We waited about an hour to get on, so we got to look around the queue some. The queue is very nice and gets you excited about the ride. After your done enjoying the queue you go up to possibly the most Hideous station ever. The station looks out of place, like it belongs in the 70s, not 2004. Besides the hideous station, goliath is a great ride. The 255 ft drop is pretty intimidating. We got onto goliath and slowly headed up the first hill. Our train flew over the first hill and we were flung into a fog filled tunnel. You go up, turn around, go down, go up, and then hit the midcourse brake. The second half of the ride is fun. Its not blackout inducing like I was led to believe but fun. I enjoy the second half more because Ive always loved smaller drops and twists. Goliath is a great ride and is not given the credit it deserves. Ride Goliath!!

One word--powerful. Never have I experienced a coaster with such sheer power as Goliath. This ride is so fast and so intense that it commands utter respect. The lift hill is really very scary. You can see how huge it is as you begin the ascent, and then it just keeps going and going. Then there is the drop, which is one of the greatest feelings ever. It also just keeps going and going. I love going up the swooping hill and turn that follows, high above the park, before diving back down again. Theres a fantastic negative-g hill that follows before the mid-course brakes. However, all of this was just childs play compared to what comes next. After the brakes the train enters Goliaths signature "Ive fallen and I cant get up" helix. The positive g-forces on this element are unreal, unlike any Ive experienced on any other coaster. Trust me--keep your head back when entering this. You hit the final brake run at a very fast speed, screaming for mercy yet begging for more. Oh mighty Goliath, I am not worthy!

boy what a long queue to walk through. This ride could have been a contender but the MCBR blows as it slows you to a practical stop. If you sit in the left front you are practically hanging out of the side of the car right after the MCBR. Decent air on the first two hills, better than I remembered in 2004 and lots of speed until the MCBR. At least the helix is extremely intense.

It may look scary, but this ride is nothing big. Drop isnt as intense as I thought it would be.

Well, this ride is fun but nothing big. I would say ticking up the first drop is scarier than actually dropping. Its pretty cool how you go into a tunnel after the first drop. The ride defiantly looks intimidating, but believe me its not as bad as it looks. I was actually a little disappointed. Im not too sure about these people saying they blacked out and sh*t they are going a little too far. Its a pretty fun ride with some thrills ;-)

This ride was fast, but it didnt do anything special for me. It was just another rollercoaster. It had no special elements on it. It didnt seem to have any air time. There were some good Gs on the turns, but it wasnt anything special.

getting to extreme sometimes extreme does not win.
