The ride is fast, The scenery is fantastic. But somehow this coaster did not live up to the expectations from the reviews everyone was giving it. I was expecting tons of airtme and what I got was a couple of pops. Definetly worth riding but this coaster is tempermental and didnt really start going till the sun was setting.
One of the best wooden rides out there today! Excellent scenery and theme with the mountainside tracks. Live 2000 miles away but get to Conn. every summer, and the wait is never more then 10-20 minutes! Excellent ride.
This ride rocks. Everything is just where its supposed to be. The way you go down the first hill is awesome. Theres also a lot of airtime. I rode this coaster 9 times in one day once, the last few times while it was raining. That kind of sucked.
What everyone was waiting for. Its hard to describe. Air time. Smooth. Exciting. Lengthly. Looking up at the trees overhead while flooting is something else. A real crowd pleaser.
Wow, this is an excellent CCI coaster. It is built completely into the side of the mountain, and delivers fast and fun thrills every second of the ride.
This would be Higher it looses a bit on the return run but the fact its built into the trees and the mountain bring it back up. over all this is one of the best coasters Ive ever ridden.
this is one of the best CCIs ive riden did any one relise thet Thie will always be a one of a kind coaster
Boulder Dash hides way in the back of Lake Compounce, its bunny hills the only part of it exposed to the public, as if its some mythic beast, sneaking a peak at its prey through the forest that shields it from mankind. And make no mistake, despite the cute name, Boulder Dash is a monster. And just like a monster, it carries you off into the woods and up a mountain to do whatever evil it has in mind for you. This is an absolutely unrelenting ride. Countless double-ups and double-downs make this serpent (almost a mile long) seem even longer than it really is. Speeds of over 60 miles per hour are maintained through out the course, and the floater air time is always present, as if the monster is trying to offer you up to the trees that line the course (and keep you from knowing exactly whats coming next). Go ahead and offer yourself to this beast, but unlike Fay Wray with King Kong, youre going to like what this monster has planned for you.
This ride is the best wodden coaster ive ever been on. i mean its awesome how they could fir all of that into the space they had. there was planty of air time and was pretty smooth for a woodie
This is the BEST coaster Ive EVER ridden. This coaster is off the charts. From the first drop to the station brakes this coaster raises hell. Airtime City, Great Laterals, Great Turns, Great First Drop and Awesome Speed. This coaster has it all. This coaster made my 700 mile trip worth while. Dont miss this one.
