Old, but a pleasure to ride. I know its not truely something to heighten the rating, but there wasnt much line. The first two camelbacks had the most air because they were right after the first drop. Airtime. Every other drop had air of some kind. This ride reminded me of the Phoenix in some ways. One of them was the amount of drops, and another was the surprising amount of speed. However, there were two disappointments which each lowered the rating by one half. 1. It was once an A.C.C., and that changed several years ago. 2. A bit short.
Well, my only coaster from John Allen and worth riding if youre near Raptor. Check it out.

Blue Streak really surprised me and is my current favorite Cedar Fair wooden coaster (even though thats not saying much). John Allen did it again on this little woodie, which packs some very nice airtime, including both floater and ejector. At a mere 40 mph, this coaster definitely is surprising. Do not underestimate it!

This ride is a pretty smooth, classic out and back coaster. It gives some great airtime. It is definatly a Cedar Point staple, and looks great in its blue, a fun ride for all.

What a wonderful attraction: Cedar Points classic, but yet not - so - old blue woodie. In comparison to other classics found at various amusement facilities, Blue Streak is rather young coming from the same time as the British Invasion, but still retains its respect as the parks well - maintained classic. The airtime is amazing, and ejects oneself many times on the bunny hops, and is placed in a classy area along the lakeside. Deserving of an 8 or 9, whichever is fine!

I absolutely LOVE the Blue Streak! Plenty of airtime and nice bumps on the ride. Cedar Points oldest coaster is also one of the best coasters in the park. A hell of a lot better than the bigger Mean Streak, which drags, but thats another review. UPDATE (7/18/2009): Blue Streak is STILL the "Good" Streak!

I really enjoy Blue Streak every time I make a trip there. I consider it to be one of Cedar Points most under rated coasters, and a hidden treasure to some extent. Its 78 tall lift hill is pretty modest when compared to the rest of CPs skyline. Its also tucked away off the main midway behind Raptor with only Calypso and Turnpike Cars to keep it company (not exactly destination rides, although I do like Calypso). The ride itself is the type of ride that cemented coasters as the king of the midway. It is fast paced from start to finish. The top speed is only 40 mph, but it feels much faster because of the airtime on the bunny hop hills. The trains also go right down to the ground in between hills, which also adds to the sense of speed. The coaster is just rough enough to let you know your on an old wooden coaster, but not to the point where you come off with bruises. Its always worth riding more than once on any trip to the point.

This is a perfect classic. Great initial drop to get things going, followed by a barrage of bunny hops. My first coaster was a classic out and back and Blue Streak is very similar to that one. It has good speed and is pretty aggressive with its movements. Great air time throughout the ride. A ride all enthusiasts can appreciate.

This is why I like PTC. Rides like this make PTC stand out in my mind. Its not as great as Screamn Eagle at SFStL, but its very close.

Blue Streaks definitely a classic woody. I knew that it would give me that one classic ride I wouldve loved b/c Ive been on Knoebels Pheonix, HPs Comet, & DPs Thunderhawk. BS definitely has that ejector air & I love how it throws you around a lil bit too. It may be small in comparison to CPs other coasters, but dont let that fool you. Its actually the best woody at the park & Id highly recommend anyone who hasnt been on BS yet to go there to experience the coaster that started off CPs 16 coaster collection.

I thought this ride would be boring, but it actually turned out to be really fun. Theres never a long line for it, and I got a walk-on . My favorite part of the ride would have to be the hill right after the first drop. You get so much air, because its so much smaller than the first hill. Its not too rough; I was expecting to be in pain, but I wasnt in any at all. I think Blue Streak could use a new paint job. Its not as blue as it used to be. For the most air, sit in the front!!!
