This ride is a CLASSIC:trophy:. One of the few electric’s still around. The ride was built in the late 60’s. An accident forced the closure and redesign of the ride to make it a little less real feeling and folks say it lost it’s touch. I think the ride has held its traditions of theme and excitment. The story is based on the History of Branson. The Baldknobbers burned the town down :fire: and caused all kinds of havoc. This is a must see and a ride that was not duplicated at SDC’s “Dollywood”. All this and more can be found inside the Fireman’s Building, only at Silver Dollar City. See ya there:wave:.

Fire in the Hole is a Dark ride with 3 drops. You go through a town that is on fire set by the Baldnobers. First drop you see a burning bridge. You go towards the bridge and the bottom of the bridge falls down. Second drop is the biggest one you are in a tunnel and u see the train comming. and the third drop is the "Fire in the Hole". This ride has been around for along time and I feel that it needs a face lift. The Grounds at Silver Dollar City is Beautiful but they do need to update there rides like fire in the hole.

This is a coaster! Just read the little sign. It says: Fine in the Hole, indoor coaster(or something like that). I love it.Its just too good to pass up. Go over to themeparkreview and see what they say. They have a pic of a sign that says its a coaster. The theming is great and the drops are awesome although not huge. Its a great ride for the family because my little sister rode it with me.Its not the greatest of course, but the experoence is whats good.

A very fun coaster. It isnt the most intense ride, but it is charming, and the drops are cool with some airtime. And of course, the infamous "Fire in the HOOOOOOOOOOOOLE!" This is a fun ride.

This is a fun themeing coaster. The drops are invisible. You cant tell where they are. The quick drops were my favorite part.

A sentimental ride for me just like the flooded mine at SDC. The baldknobbers have set the town ablaze! I absolutely love the scenes and animation in this indoor dark coaster. There are three drops, the oncoming train on the first one is classic and brings a smile to my face everytime I ride this coaster. This ride scared me when I was a kid. The mixture of hooded bandits and very realistic fire effects (even to this day!) and a dark coaster ride made for quite the trip! A classic theme ride that still thrills me to this day!

This is not a coaster. This is a darkhouse ride billed as a coaster. Great as a darkhouse ride but dont fool yourself its not a Roller Coaster.

Good for the kids but not for the hardcore coaster fans.

Another great sentimental one for me. It seemed so much longer and higher off the ground when I was 7 years old, but its still great and even the smell of the ride brings back great memories.

My fav Dark Coaster The three dips seem a lot taller than they actually are. But a thrilling ride all the way. All of the animatronics were even in proper working condition. Thats rare now-a-days
