The hecklers make this great! This is not your normal show with glasses. The muppets are a classic.
I only need to say one thing: Muppets kick ass!!!
A must see at MGM. It does the muppets proud and makes me laugh everytime. Great for the whole family. I remember that when I was like 7 its tough to be a bug freaked me out but i enjoyed this.
I like the Muppets and this show has great effects and some good jokes. Such as the finale called "Honoring Countries Around the World But Mostly America." I think the show would be better without the stupid 3D cartoon thing. Still a great movie.
It is fun, with the 3D vision. I dont consider it a must though.
I love the two old guys in this show. They are so funny. They make the show for me. Its is very good 3-d show. The muppets are great in it. The only question I have is where is animal?
The Muppets will forever be remembered as the great Jim Henson’s legacy. I know for sure that some will unfortunately forget of their existence, but I’ll never forget them thanks to the instrumental part they had in my childhood. Moving on, I will say this, that Muppet Vision 3-D is a very faithful attraction that captures the spirit of the Muppets and rekindled my childhood interest in them. In other words, this is one of the better 3-D shows out there!
First off, the entire attraction’s area looks great, with the ingenious Miss Piggy fountain and Kermit balloon towering over the attraction. Also, I remember that the queue was very nicely themed, though I can’t go into specifics since it has been a few years since I’ve been on this attraction, but I do remember it being quite entertaining. After donning a pair of 3-D glasses (Fun Fact: This is the only Disney show to refer to them as 3-D glasses), you proceed into the massive theater, which is modeled exactly after the iconic one featured in so many Muppets episodes. Despite it being many years since viewing the Muppets, it just seemed to have every detail just as I remembered it being in the television show.
Now onto the show itself, the entire premise of the attraction is that a new Muppet has been created, Waldo. However, he is uncontrollable and goes haywire, leading to a chaotic show with plenty of the slapstick humor I’ve come to love and know from the Muppets. All of the effects were visually stunning and appealing, especially the bubble scene and incredible cannon scene that literally blew me away! Also, I love how Disney integrates live animatronics into this 3-D show as they have done with some of their others since it just adds an element of realism to the show. Not only is the attraction just very enjoyable, but it’s also very long, even for a 3-D show.
Really, the Muppets is a great attraction for any age with its kid-friendly characters and gut-busting humor sprinkled throughout. Definitely if you spend a day at Hollywood Studios, make time to see this wonderful 3-D show, as it is easily one of the best 3-D shows out there, and one of the best attractions featured at the park.
This is a great 3-D show, without overdoing the 3-D effect. Its funny, has a catchy storyline, and is a great escape from the heat.
this and a bugs life show at animal kingdom are my picks of the best shows at disney
Boring, dated, weak story and noisy. This green creature is just not my type of thing. This is a waste of time when there are so many good 3D shows around.
