Its a cool feet-hanging coaster a-la Batman, but it beats your head around way too much to really enjoy it. Make sure you go on it after youve seen everything else, because youll have a headache afterwards and probably want to go home.
I liked this coaster, especailly the view of the Ocean. The double in-lines were very good, and you can see it run by the waterpark. I thought this ride was actually smooth.
Great Coaster! Loved how it looks like it willtake your feet off in some areas. Excellent location.
Its amazing what they did with this invert on the end of the pier in such a small area. It intertwines with a water slide, above a lazy river and through the log flume. You can not see the next element or where you are going unless you are in the front row. The ride starts by going up the lift hill with the people rafting on the lazy river below you, towards the right is a water slide but you still go 20 feet higher, then you turn right on go down the hill with the ocean out to your left. A nice first drop and although I rode it three times I still dont remember the order of the elements and the coaster is so compact it is hard to follow if you are watching it. While standing in the station you notice the train does zip very close to the station but you dont even notice it when you are on the ride. There will be mild head banging and a good chance that your seat will be wet because the person ahead of you just came off the water slide.
The first inverted coaster I ever went on, and while not as good as Batman at SFGA, still a great coaster worth riding at least twice, and definitely in the front seat.
This coaster is THE COOLEST. The best part of the ride is at the top of the hill when you feel as if you are going to fall into the ocean. This is a MUST RIDE for anyone who goes to Wildwood.
I dont know why everyone bashes SLCs. I dont mind them one bit and out of the many Ive experienced, this one has to the best. This coaster is definately a front seater. Between the ocean view and the close calls, you have to be in the front to truely enjoy this ride. And speaking of close calls, this coaster has many. The best one on the entire ride is going into the first inline twist. I swore while riding it that there wasnt enough room for the train to fit underneath the log flume. Very nicely designed and remember to keep your feet close to the train
I loved this ride! Great view of the ocean on the first drop!
This ride will probably go the way of Drachen Fire it really rocks the crap of riders. It is a great ride if ridden with your head forced back into the head pad.
Wow! What a conflicting amount of perspective on this great roller coaster. While it is not able to compete with the mega-coasters built at the larger parks, it is still a wonderful inverted coaster. Wildwood can never have giant coasters such as those found at Cedar Point because the concrete foundations never set in sand. Add space limitations and what the Moreys have done with the NorEaster is a minor miracle. The first drop with the Atlantic Ocean staring you smake in the face as you begin your descent is enough to make your stomach crawl up to your chin. The feeling that your legs will hit one of the other rides makes you curl them up in awful, exciting, anticipation. No trip to the Wildwood boardwalk would be complete without a ride on this on twisting, red, heart-pumping icon.
