This ride would easily be a 9 or a 10 if t had milleniums flyer trains, however, it doesnt, so you get kinda beat up on this ride. The ride itself had great pacing, the ride just doesnt let up. The tunnel section is pretty nice, and the first drop was more intense than I expected. You got thrown around a lot, which is a characteristic of a GCI like this one. Like I said, ths coasters biggest flaw is its trains. I loved the layout however, you cant see where youre going next. other than the trains, rides biggest downfall is its turn into the brake run, where you really get thrown around with too much force, but other than that, I loved it.

This ride certainly has its good points. Very twisty, nice bank turns, pretty good speed (I may be a little spoiled in that department, having ridden Boulder Dash not long before Roar). But a little jerky, a little too much rattling... and sheesh, they werent kidding when they named it - its loud as all get out. I was wondering what was up with all the noise.

best coaster in the park, 20 crossovers, plenty of headchoppers, power and speed, air time. It has it all. Practically the whole track is banked one way or another so you are always moving side to side. Best element (and this is rare for a twister) is the first drop. A banked right hand turn that ejects you out of your seat wherever you are sitting.

I love this ride and think it is a VERY underrated woodie. A wonderfully convoluted track easily disorients riders and the speed just keeps building. Its best ridden at night. Turns are banked so you get few laterals on this oherwise perfect coaster.

Usually my first ride on my visits to this underappreciated coaster park. Great bank turns but a notch below Knoebels Twister.

Much like Hersheys Wildcat. It has a definate feel of days gone by. (though Im not all that old) Smooth, Fierce, the trains manage the curves and track beautifully. Terrific ride.

I just love riding Roar. Its a great twister of a coaster. And I also like ridinhg Roar in the dark.
I really recomend riding Roar in the Day time & in the night time. And the front seat is the best. And to make Roar a cooler ride you should ride it with your hands up for the deratetion of the ride.If you havnt ridden Roar yet you should ride it.

Great twister coaster, not a piece of straight track on this ride. The only problem I had were the few hills that were just a little too tall to create any kind of airtime. The layout is pretty cool looking though, and the line was very short.

A great wooden twister, deserves all the success it gets here, unbelievable to think there is not one piece of straight track on the ride!!!
