ah, launch coasters. a genre which i dont think i will ever comfortably settle in with. i am always apprehensive about riding these things, just because they really give my nervous system something to chew on, even the "milder" ones such as these premier off-the-shelfers. i am always impressed at how, once into a LIM launch, my nervous system starts sending frantic distress signals to my brain - "attention! this is not right! evolution has not provided me with an adequate method of dealing with physics like this! abort! i do not approve!". i like it once the adrenalin kicks in, but man, LIM launches sure are goofy when they first hit you. that said, i enjoyed what JJ had to offer and it definitely doesnt have the silky smooth engineering of a B&M, which gives it character and some teeth, in my opinion. it is a visually garish and absurd sight from the ground, as if the designers at premier rides just scribbled a bunch of crap on a piece of paper and then told the steel manufacturers, "make it happen". it kind of feels that way too, because it is a very uneven ride, rippling out of the launch into the twisted inversions, then hitting a long dull spot, in which the train ambles around some high boring turns, and then it starts to snap back into g-force mode crashing through some gnarly transitions winding down to about a foot from the ground. finally you fly at high speed through a fantastic and disorienting corkscrew. that was the last thing i was expecting and the surprise felt wonderful. you go screaming into the brake run. the twisty finale of this coaster is pretty evil and probably the modern day equivalent of the ground hugging figure eight on travers cyclone triplets. its rough and tight and really brought this ride home for me. i think that the slow boring portion after the initial inversions is there simply to provide a visual balance to the "spagetti bowl". without it the ride would probably be too short and not have the electron cloud appearance they seemed to be going for. i really enjoyed jokers jinx and id like to see more compact cartoony launch coasters such as this.

The launch and the first 3 inversions start this ride off great. I love going upside down with just a lap bar!! After that, the coaster does a few slow, boring turns. The turns do, however, start to get faster and get bigger drops. I really liked the final corkscrew. It seemed to come out of nowhere. There are no lines too!! Overall a great ride.

I thought it was fun, but the launch leaves alot to be desired. I was really let down by the launch, also, the pacing really slows down towards the middle of the ride, but really picks up towards the end. I especially like the last corckscrew that you take at such a quick pace.

Like many rides at SFA, its very good, but a tad too short (lasts 1 minute even). An opening high acceleration launch (similar to a Hulk, RRC etc) goes through a flat tunnel, perhaps for too long, before going into some nice opening loops, then into a good, twisty layout. The ride slows down considerably about halfway through. It does have some toilet-bowl spirals that reverse direction nicely at the ends, and seems to accelerate as you go into a final corkscrew. All in all, an interesting coaster.

This ride was a tiny bit rough like everyone is saying. This is mostly because you bump your head around on the OTS harness that used to be there. Still I ride the ride everytime I go to sixflags america. Now that I hear the OTS harness has been replaced by lap restraints I know it will be much more comfortable and much more fun to ride!

Beautiful track layout. They removed the OTSR from this ride and replaced them with lapbars GREATLY increasing the enjoyability of this ride. I like it better than Flight of Fear at PKD - which is the same ride indoors - but which has enough light inside to make the argument for not having enclosed it at all.

A fun second tier steel coaster. Not going to ruin some of the surprises by describing them.

I havent ridden it with the new trains, but I still thought that when I went on it before it was still a good ride, and the launch is very good!!!

this was a great coaster, with a really fun launch. very disorientating, very smooth with the new lap bars, finished off with a nice intense corkscrew. and it was headchopper heaven!
