Mr. Freeze is a great coaster that can only be riden either at SFoT or SFSL. I love Mr. Freezes unique loading system that allows for two trains. The ride is great but sometimes rough. My favorite part is going back through the top hat inversion. Make sure you look down at the ground. That is awsome. It is, after all, "the coolest coaster on the planet".
Mr. Freeze is a great coaster. The launch is amazing. In my opinion its the best coaster in the park. Ride Freeze while it is open, and try to avoid the crowds by riding first thing when the park opens.
Its amazing what lapbars did for this ride. Amazing launch.
Mr. Freeze is a very misleading coaster, as it looks scarier than it really is. Aside from the launch, the coaster itself really isnt the "fast-paced" thrill I was hoping for. I must say, though, that the theming is excellent and taps into the "Snowy Cones" factory setup very well. The ride is a different story entirely. It is very rough for a coater with *lap bars* and the "Top Hat" is highly overrated, in my opinion. While being able to look straight down at the ground for a few seconds due to the significant amount of hangtime at the top of the inversion, the train slows down quite a bit before it reaches the top. Although the "Top Hat" is a rare treat, in Mr. Freeze, it actually slows down the pacing. The overbanked turn is rough and is also traveled through fairly slowly. Luckly, the ride comes to a nice climax when it reaches the spike and traveles almost to its peak. The backwards ride was just O.K. The whole "traveling backwards" gimmick has really has lost its original luster with me because of the fact that there is a ridiculous amount of "Boomerangs" in the world. Mr. Freeze is a little to big for its own good and, because of this, the speed is not maintained, which is supposed to be a major selling point of the ride because of the LIMs. I wish that I could like Mr. Freeze, but it just wasnt the thrill I expected.
What a great coaster! I love the launch, tophat and spike. Everything about this ride is awesome. Since the lapbars were install, it is a totally different ride.
this is a great LIM. I love the launch and the forwards and backwards concept. the top hat and OBT rock, and with the lapbars, its even better. Now the the OTHR are gone you dont hit your head! so now, its a 10.
This ride is really cool! (no pun intended) I like how they took the OTSR away and leave with only lap bars. It makes it scarier, less painful, and tons more fun. Im making it a goal to keep my hands up through the entire ride. I love how it launches you instead of going up a chain lift its so awesome. This ride makes me a little bit dizzy though afterwards especially going backwards but all the fun of this ride still makes it worth it. And its also not quite as bad up front either. Like with Batman, this one gets the bonus points for the music played in the station. Also, its a great place to wait in line ohot days bc it is litereally "freezing" in there!
A great surprise to see a dual track loading station. A wonderful ride. I compare it to Batman & Robin the Chiller and believe it is a much superior ride. I LOVE the theming, but was frightened by the immense queues. Thankfully, it was walk on for me
Very high-speed and high-tech ride. You can almost see all of the park on the overbanked turn. One of my all time favorites.
One of the greatest rides Ive ever been on. The only thing I have to complain about is the noise. This thing can be heard from the chinese restaurant across the highway. But I guess when youre on it, you kinda WANT everyone to hear it. Its like "HEY EVERYONE! IM ON MR FREEZE AND YOU ARENT!" The tophat is the best, especially the hangtime, the spike is incredible, and the moving stations just astonished me to no end. I think it goes a little faster when you go through it faster, or maybe it just seems like it. Hard to keep your hands up, and I LOVED IT!
