The Screamin Eagle is a classic ride that never seems to let up. John Allen did a very good job of working with the terrain, as there are big drops even up to the brake run. Although it doesnt have a whole lot of airtime, the rest of the ride experience more than makes up for it. The Screamin Eagle is also somewhat smoother and overall more comfortable than The Boss, so those that find The Boss to be too rough may want to try this one instead.

I rode in the back twice. A good and very long out and back (Is this the longest out and back?) I found sitting on the right side more comfortable. Sitting on the left forces your rib cage into the seat divider on the turnaround. Decent but not great air over the bunny hops.

Wow! This is another great John Allen woodie which was at one time the biggest, longest, and fastest in the 70s. This ride has a great setting in a forested area. I was so amazed at how fast it was. That are a lot of small bunny hops that give you nice air-time. Dont miss this one.

This is your basic out and back woodie. Its fun and surprisingly fast. I did like how it went out into the woods and most of the ride is hidden from view. Pretty good air on this one, and the seats are very comfortable.

This was a great wooden coaster. But I was dissapointed. I stood in line for this ride for al least an hour. And all I got was this. I do understand this is a classic, and it was good back then. The drop was mild, and it was super rough. It has a nice location in the woods, and you cant see it, I do have to get it some credit.
Overall: Id choose the Boss over it anyday, but it wasnt the worst, its fun in a way!

The Screamin Eagle is probably my favorite woody in the world. Three things make this ride great: location location location! Its like a miniature Beast. No matter where you stand in the park you can never see the whole ride, which was why I was eager to ride it. This ride was everything I hoped it to be. And it being a classic just made it all the more exciting.

Wow. This is a great ride with a short wait. Talk about underappreciated. This is one of my favorite wooden roller coasters. Great braking at the end.

I was raised on the Screamin Eagle, I rode it the second day it was open back in 1976, to this day, it is still my all time favorite coaster ever!! it may not be very tall, but let me tell you, the Eagle packs a mean punch, loads of airtime, fast, and it screaches and roars as it races through the woods. if your a coaster fan, and you have never ridden the eagle, get here to St louis and get on it, you wont be sorry..

A great classic out-and-back wooden coaster. Had some surprises and a couple good shots of air (one of which was just PHENOMENAL). It is in need of a paint job and some retracking/renovating, but this is a really a good solid coaster. Do not miss this attraction.

While I agree it is a classic, its getting a little old and its not as famous any more!
