This roller coaster is probably the best wooden roller coaster I have ridden in Missouri. 3 huge drops. I put my sunglasses in my pocket which you sould never do, because the lap bar bent my glasses. This is the frist roller coaster in Six Flags St Louis that was actually a long ride. The other roller coaster rides at the park are very short. Expect vibrations like other wooden roller coasters. GREAT JOB!
Excellent doubledown. I Laughed, I Screamed, I had a blast. Six Flags got this one right. Classic Wood in natural setting Great Helix. Rough riding, fast. Definatly my number 1 woody.
If you dont mind the wait. This ones a keeper.
This is the coaster that puts six flags STL on the map!!! Its run through its own structure is awsome!!! Very rough but but the 720 helix makes up for it.
The best woodie Ive ridden.Terribly rough though terribly thrilling.Excellent!
Do I praise or criticize The Boss? It is hard to say. The double drop is extremely exciting and this coaster is very fast. However, I had one heck of a headache after riding it. Sure, as of now, it made my Top 10 but I am just so darn split on this one. Everyone should ride it at least once.
How fast is too fast to enjoy? I think this is it. you have to ride it, but it will make your eyes water n a cold night. all in all, its a fun ride and will et your heart pumping. 6 flags needs to get a handle on their "gang" or "wannabe gang problem" if you like to read tons of graffiti while standing in line, youll love the wait time.
Rode it again this in 2003, and boy has SFSL gone to hell. The maintenence on this coaster is horrid, and has become insanely rough and bone jarring, until the "bunny" hops towards the helix this coaster was very painful, it is just so big, and so fast and so demanding and with the Gers. trains the vibration is horrid. But the Boss does not lose all points with me, it has some great airtime and if SFSL would get their a$$ in gear and get rid of the Gers. trains, and retrack a couple areas of the ride this ride would shoot up into the top ten but as is this coaster is not very good, but it has the potential to be A+.
I Cant Say Anything about This ride but a Loaaaaaaad Of Fun and Laughs!
One of my favorite wooden coasters. Rode it last year while visiting my sister in St. Louis. The wood on the ride made it the best smelling coaster Ive ever been on.
A good coaster, and a nice addition to my home park. However, my other home park of Holiday World, which is the same distance from me as SFStL, has two much better woodies, so Id rather just go over there. Boss has good air and intensity, but it just seems to be missing something.
