very very intense. on the last turn, i thought i was gonna die. this ride has very good ejector airtime, intense laterals, and good headchopers. the only minus is the ride is probably the roughest coaster i have ever been on. i am very excitied for the news of it being retracked for 2002. it will definatly improve this already very good ride.

They are re-tracking the cyclone. Screw that. Ive been on the cyclone of 100 times (Ive had a seasons pass for Riverside/SFNE for well over 15 years, and the Cyclone is the most rough and tumble coaster youll ever ride. A true woody all the way, hellist bumps and corners that will leave you bruised and chatty for days. Good ride speed, and enough of that "Im gonna die" feeling to make you go back for more. Watch out for that last corner going into the shed, thats where you get killed. a shap turn with 2 nasty high speed bumps make for a killer expierience.

This ride was better before they re-tracked it. The ride is really intense and it really doesn’t clone the CI cyclone at all its unique to put it mildly. A must ride. Would be better with no seat dividers (they cause 80% of the pain) down to a 6 do to the blatant miss keep of the coaster. will go back up is they start taking care of it!
Update: With the addition of two trim brakes the coaster is practically a dud. I found no thrill or fun in this new version!!! its now a 4
update - they arent even taking care of it. ran fast but ruff and lagged through the end. goes down more.
update 2004 - The ride is terrible now. slow, painful, and noisy. It needs major overhauling.

I am glad this ride is being re-tracked for 2002. I myself prefer a mildy-rough ride, not an insane rough-and-tumble ride liek this. It is still very fun, but re-tracking is needed to stop the need for a trim brake along the course. For now it gets a 5, in 2002, maybe a 7 or 8?

A good imitation of the "real" Cyclone found in Brooklyn, NY. But this ride, even though very rough, does not give you the feeling that youre life is in danger like the CI Cyclone. I would have given it a 9 if the original Cyclone never existed. One of the best rides in the park and surely ride it if youve never been on the Brooklyn Murderer.

This is my favorite ride in the park. Whether you believe it or not I like this ride better than SROS. This coaster has a great drop and a great layout. This coaster has great airtime also. For people who complain that this ride is too rough. ITS A WOOD COASTER! It is supposed to be rough. Anyway, I love SROS, but this is the coaster to go to at SFNE. By the way, WOOD COASTERS RULE!!!

After you get of this ride you feel like youve gone 12 rounds in the ring. This is the roughest ride I have been on. Its nonstop speed but its not worth the beating you take for riding this coaster.

Cyclone is a little rough but its not as bad as Mind Eraser. Its got some good airtime hills.
