Fun ride, whether it races or not. Just a lot of fun to ride it backwards and look at how seriously this rides looks like itll rot and fall over before you get to the top of the lift. Hands down beat the racer at PKI backwards, IMO.

This ride was OK. But after a 2 hour line it seemed boring. The lifts in a good spot because as you go up the Sky Coaster shinks under the rides hulk. American Eagles first drop is a kick but the ride has no sustained airtime. I thing they should have Intamin come back and reprofile it.

Yeah... this one was pretty good.

Trim Brake: The Ride. While Eagle wasnt as painful as Id expected, and the helices were actually entertaining, the ride still sucks. Very little airtime, and what is there is this short, near-painful ejector deal which does nothing for me at all. And what was Intamin thinking with the angles of the first drop? It is incredibly rampy. But still, there are worse coasters out there, namely BKF and RWB, to name 2.

BEST WOODEN COASTER I HAVE EVER BEEN ON! When I rode it the 2nd time the car got stuck about 10 feet from the climax of the lift hill. It just added to the excitement of this GREAT coaster.

The eagle is a classic, but it is ment to be run forwards not backwards. Rde it backwards once but otherwise sticking to going forwards, its alot better that way. The hill is great especially if you sit in the front car. The helix is boring, but the bunny hills heading back to the station are awesome. Wait for the front it is worth it.

The out is fine. The back sucks. Slow. Red side isnt too bad, but blue is pathetic. Worth a wait, but only for red. 2001

This is for 2002. Red side, I dont know, it looks slow this year. Ive seen it race, blue always wins. Blue is backwards, blue is smooth, blue is fast, blue is full of airtime (more than Viper.) Blue is my 2nd favorite coaster there this year, after Deja Vu. 2002

Not a bad woodie, but it wasnt racing the day I rode which kinda detracts from a duel tracked coaster. Plus, Im not to big on out n back layouts that arent wooded/hidden (not enough suprises).

not as much fun as i expected. they braked too much on that. Personally i think that the American eagle should be upgraded or shut down. However there was some nice air time.

I think once youve done it mark it off oyur list and dont do it again

Not too bad at all. I rode it in the rain with no brakes (red side) and it was fun. Nice air and a laterally-intense helix.
