Dont ever ride this thing if the wait is longer than 15 min, because youll be disappointed. Overall I would have to say that its an alright ride not great but not awful. The scariest thing about it is the tension that builds before it drops. This was the most intense ride in the park for me, but the freefall only lasts for like 3 sec. Overall it was just okay nothing great.

Its a good ride. Itll be much better if it was like Power Tower at CP. But the feeling is very different and a little scary because youre falling so fast on the Giant Drop.

One of my favorite rides since so many people are scared of it. Falling for a 3 or 4 seconds is a really scary thing if youve never skydived and is a ton of fun. Talking people into it can be a half day event but they are always glad afterward.

I enjoyed this ride moreso on my past visit than I ever have before. I made sure to sit on the side that faces the park, one so that I could get some great views, and two so that I would have something to take my mind off of how high we were. I dont like heights, but they generally dont bother me that much on coasters. On towers they do however, so I dont generally go on them when I visit a park (i.e. Power Tower @ CP). However, I actually went on Giant Drop twice on my past visit, and had a lot of fun both times. It is certainly quite high, but the view of the park is very nice and the air on the drop is crazy. My overall recommendation is that if you like towers, Id try to take at least one ride, but otherwise, skip it.

Great view at top. It drops you faster than gravity cause its not a free drop. It is controlled and youre pulled faster than gravity which is why you feel weightless. The wait isnt worth it though and it is so short.

Intamin drops are definately better than the newer S&S, the problem with the Intamin drops is that the harnesses have to have a little play for you to get the full freefall effect, if you are stapled in then they suck. I had play so this was a lot of fun.

This ride is OK. The view is great at the top. Id like it a lot better if it was taller. You shouldnt go on this if theres more than a 30 minute wait.

Horrible ride - why are they still building these when the S&S Towers do so much more!!!

after my most recent ride this week........i still stick to my roots. this ride could be so much better. sure, its a blast for the few seconds of free falling.....but thats just it, the drop lasts less than 2 seconds. if the tower were taller it could be so much better. Raging Bulls lift hill is taller than the tower.....weak

Pure thrill. You can really feel the weight of the freefall on this sucker. Just Bam! I also like the instant stop at the bottom where you can chose to be a spectator and just watch the stunned faces as they land. Great addition to the new area.
