Psycho Mouse at Paramounts Great America is much better than this one.
This ride is an awesome ride. I couldnt believe that its in the 6 point range. It bangs from side to side, and you cant miss that steep drop (even though it could be a little steeper). Ride the Zamperla Twister II, and you will see why this mouse kicks its butt. I love this ride. California Screamin has nothing on this!!
I like that Disney managed to add some theming to it, but the coaster is very weak, and the theme doesnt make up for it, worth ridding if its a walk-on.
good wild mouse needs more disney theming
This is a really fun wild mouse ride and the brakes didnt bother me that much at all.
Pretty lame. Theming wasnt up to Disney standards (along with the rest of the park) and I dont think it was a very good wild mouse in the first place.
This is one of my favorite mad mouse type rides (ive only gone on three though). This ride begins with tight turns slowly going down (like the real Mulholland road). Then it goes into a sequence of small drops and brakes. I enjoyed this ride more then most people do, especially at night. This could use some more theming but disney could always add that in later.
this is so pathetically themed. and the braking is way too strong, it keeps slaming you forawrd into your lap bar, which is not what you want to feel every 50 feet.
This is a very enjoyable Mack wild mouse coaster. Every now and then, the brakes are on slightly overkill mode, which tames things down a bit much. Ordinarily, though, the speed is just right for this type of coaster. The series of unbanked turns that begin the ride are very entertaining and produce some really good lateral g-forces. The little drops that finish the ride are lots of fun, appropriate for the whole family (necessary for a Disney coaster) but thrilling enough for me to be content as well. As far as rides at California Adventure go, I would rank this one just below the top 5 (Tower of Terror, California Screamin, Toy Story, Soarin, and Grizzly River). The rumor is that, during the renovation of the park, the coaster will remain but receive a new theme. While the current theme is supposed to represent a chaotic drive down a Los Angeles highway, it is executed pretty cheesily and is just okay at best. It seems like this will be rethemed to Goofy and his flight school, which certainly sounds like it could be promising.
For someone like me who doesnt like roller coasters, I didnt mind this one. There are better things to ride though.
