I heard countless babies crying through the whole show. The effects are good one of Disneys best effects shows, and half of the babies were crying because of "4-D-ism". It was realistic and therefore scary even to me at some times. The storyline confusing, but like I said, the effects were so good it deserves an 8.
this movie was scary. . . Im not going to say why, but some things scared the crap out of me. . man,.
Like most of the other interactive shows at this park, this ride was good but not great.
This is my favorite 3-D show at the entire Disneyland Resort (my second favorite 3-D show ever, behind only Terminator 2 3-D). The show is actually quite short, but the thrills, screams, and laughs come so rapid fire and nonstop that the whole thing turns into an absolute riot. The tarantula quill effect, the termite acid effect, and the stink bug odor effect are all hilarious. But that is just the beginning. The attacks by the fly swatter, fogger, hornets, and black widows always leave me howling. There is a fun little musical number to wrap it up, followed by yet another final effect that usually results in the audience literally jumping out of their seats. I have a degree in biology and have studied entomology quite extensively, so I especially appreciate some of the inside jokes that are sprinkled throughout (both in the show itself as well as in the queue and waiting room). This is a must. I love it every time I see it! Thankfully, I have heard of no plans to change this one at all during the renovation of DCA. I would have to make much more frequent trips to Florida if they took this out of California!
Great for a show. The special effects are great. You are basically in a bug talent show. Each bug from the movie A Bugs Life show off their talents, such as the dung beetles and the wasps, which swarm the building and sting everyone. Basically, it is the best show in the resort, besides Fantasmic!.
Pretty fun. Really interactive. It interacts with all your senses (Even taste). Not much of a fan of stereography.
Nicely done. Kind of like Shrek 4-D at universal but more 4-d effect. The cockroaches leaving is like a but massage...too bad they didnt warn as properly
The Best Disney Show I have seen in a long time. Right under Fantasmic. The 3D was great and the effects were the best. I actuley jumped when the hornet stung my back. I reconmend this show to every one who goes to DCA. It may seem babies but give it a chance, you wont regret it.
I personally liked this show much more than Muppets 3D or Honey I shrunk the Audience over at Disneyland. The theater has excellent themeing, and the show is very well laid out and put together. None of that cheesy stuff like over at Honey. A point off b/c although kids are the main target audience, I think the show is a little scary for them.
I couldnt help smiling thinking about this show. Its good but not for kids, but I guess that is what California Adventure is all about, its for the teens and older. Very intense, especially the part where you get stink bombed and bug sprayed. The mice effects was quite fun too ~ it was a screamer.
