fantastic the first time you see it, afterwards dont go near it, ever, or else youll hate yourself, its a fantastic one time only show, and the theater is really well done, but as I said, it has virtually no repeat value.
It was ok but just ok. I didnt enjoy it much and at some parts I found it boring almost to the point of sleep. What I did like about the ride was the effects and some of it was funny.
This is a pretty entertaining show, though it is not quite as good as the other 3-D show at DCA (Tough to Be a Bug). The reason being is that Muppets is more of a 3-D film rather than a 4-D experience like Bugs. I am not saying that there are not some 4-D effects. There is a slight water spray, and bubbles fall from the ceiling at one point when they are blowing bubbles on the screen (admittedly a nifty and unique effect), but that is about the extent of it. However, the show is pretty funny, especially if you like the Muppets. This is sheer Muppets mayhem, lunacy, and chaos from beginning to end. Statler and Waldorf, seated in the balcony of the theater for the duration rather than being in the film itself, are hilarious, and all of the Muppets characters are really quite entertaining. However, I do have a complaint with the new animated character, Waldo, that was created for this show. He is incredibly annoying and all of his scenes pretty much fall flat because they are completely unnecessary. I really wish the Muppets show consisted of just Muppets and no Waldo, but what can I do? I know. I can give Muppets 3-D an 8 rather than the 9 that I would have without him. I am not exactly sure what the future holds for the Muppets during the California Adventure overhaul. I would not be at all surprised to see the removal of the Muppets, as the show is never very crowded at all. Then again, most of the shows at DCA are not very crowded, and while some are going (Golden Dreams), some are staying (Bugs). I have heard that this one could be replaced by the Philharmagic show that also plays at the Magic Kingdom at WDW, but that is just a rumor at this point, so anything could happen I suppose.
Great show to see. A 3D movie that all the family can enjoy and the kids wont get scared. The end is the best part of all.
The best 3D movie in Disneyland Resort. The 3D effects are great, the muppet humour in full force, and the supporting cast of animatronic characters wonderful. The "4D" effects are used sparingly but effectively, and theres not much here thats going to scare the kids. The finale also features some great in-theatre special effects. This version is better than Floridas with newer, fresher animatronics. Dont forget to look out for the Swedish chef behind you ("everything flumy flumy!"
Pretty cool. Great storyline. Made me remember back to when I used to watch sesame street. Good times. I still cant get used to stereography.
This is a great show for the whole family to see. Everything about it is funny, from the line to the show itself. I like how they made imitations of the posters you see at the cinema for upcoming movies, except they made Muppet versions of them. This is a great show.
I loved the muppets as a kid and I still love them. This show was great. There is nothing like walking into a nice classic theater when in the end there is a hole in the wall and half of the theater is on fire. This is bound to happen when ever you introduce the muppets to humman surroundings. This show is interactive with muppents coming out in to the audience and the muppets on screen interacting with you. This show is great for adults and kids of all ages.
A great 3D show (great effects).
A very well done 3D movie. The only thing I didnt like about it was the fact that it had all the close-ups and camera cuts in it. They made the show seem more like a movie than a show like Its Tough to be a Bug or Honey I Shrunk the Audience
